Searched the web, too. Can't find the damned issue and friend doesn't have it (not very popular, I heard).

The only thing I was able to find that even hinted at the time elpased is in a review:

http://comicboxcommentary.blogspot.com/2008/11/review-supermansupergirlmaelstrom-1.html

"Maelstrom arrives in Metropolis during a week when Superman is away on a mission in space. He put Supergirl in charge and she initially complains of a slow week of action until something gets her attention."

The term "week" was used but I think w/o that critical page that actually discusses the time elapsed here, we don't really have much to work on to establish period here. And due to that, can neither agree on or dispute anything as I don't have sufficient information.

Sorry bro. Can't provide any more information.

That week comment is interesting though.

All good, man pretty good "feat" nonetheless.

I calculated the speed even with taking a week into consideration and it comes as 53 lightyears/second. Not too bad.

Pretty close to my computation. Not bad at all.

👆

And that's with the assumption wherein he spent most of his time traveling. Could actually go much higher.

Cool.

Not to mention he was lifting that huge ship while flying all that distance.

Supergirl, powergirl, Linda Danvers Supergirl and an another supergirl fly to the source wall at the edge of the universe

Captain atom flies to the end of the universe

Issue number for the Superman feat?

Superman/Batman #25, as the hotlink states. 😉

Thanks.

Smart ass! 😛

Do you have any feats you'd like to add?

I think Thor has more showings than both when it comes to being airborn without his tool. He recently did it against Surtur.

Nah. The Azrael 1M feat I posted on page 1 is still one of the best quantifiable speed feats out there.

And this is why Kara Zor-El is the very embodiment of jailbait.

All those scans were unnecessary but whatever, it's late. Anyways, no disclosed amount of time was mentioned. It's an impressive flight speed feat obviously even if it took a full 24 hours (Example), but Jimmy didn't press the signal watch only to have Superman appear the next page like your scans suggest.

Wouldn't he have been amped being near Vega?

Because of the color of the sun?

Even if it was a normal sun. But yes, the blue sun is supposed to amp him more.

If this was directed towards me:

Her bust is nearly as big as PG's, she's almost as tall as PG(who's likely the tallest Supergirl analogue from Superman/Batman) is, her rear end is also more developed than any other Supergirl(barring Karen), and her skirt is the shortest among them(notwithstanding Linda Danvers).

Aka, jailbait.

Vega isn't a blue sun AFAIK in DCU and superman wasn't mentioned to be amped, so its at best a speculation from bran.
