STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Initiation

"Maybe we're looking in the wrong place," Vash says. "Then again, I don't entirely think you're wrong..."

"Let's try somewhere else..."

Towards the forest, perhaps?

It will be a lengthy trek over the slippery stone field beyond your landing point... but really, what else do you have to do?

"Sounds better than sticking around here waiting for something to happen," Vash says, starting off toward the forest.

Nothing happens as you cross the stone field, aside from a few slips and trips among the eroded, damp rocks. It on the edge of the forest that you start to feel uneasy.

"Do you feel that?" Rianna asks.

Uneasy how, exactly?

You aren't sure.

"Yeah," Vash says.

"I don't like it..." Rianna says.

Still, she's not stopping, but she'll be wary, sensing around for anything.

In you go! Vash follows you, not wanting to be shown up by a girl.

The forest here is low, in the sense that the trees are short and clustered together, with drooping branches and long, damp leaves. It feels like a light mist is dripping through the canopy, even though it isn't raining; it's coming from the trees.

Things are stirring in the brush, here and there. Scattering in response to your presence.

"I wonder what kind of things are in here..." Rianna comments quietly, as they make their way through. Does she sense anything other than simply being uneasy?

You do not sense anything else.

However, you do notice what looks like the remnants of a trail.

Let's see where that goes, then!

Into the forest, of course!

The high humidity within is enough to make you want to walk right back the way you came. Which is odd, because this is definitely not a rain forest. It must be the generally humidity of Dontos and the thick canopy above you.

You also notice that most of the trees lean at odd angles, some of their roots breaking free of the soil.

All of them are dripping with water.

"Weird," Vash comments.

"Very...I don't think this was caused by something natural...whatever wiped out everything here before, maybe?" Rianna says.

Do the trees all seem to still be alive?

"Maybe," Vash says. "I wouldn't know."

They are alive.

Rianna shrugs.

"Well, let's see where this path leads to...if anywhere..."

You trudge onward.

It quickly becomes very annoying getting hit with drops of cold water ever couple seconds.

Does Rianna have a cloak or something she can cover with?

Unfortunately not.

You forget that you are in need of a cloak when you feel a cold hand press onto your shoulder.

Rianna will quickly jerk away from it and turn around.

"Get your hands off me!"

There is no-one behind you.

"I didn't touch you," Vash says.

"Well...I just felt someone putting their hand on my shoulder..." Rianna says. Does she sense anything or anyone?
