All very well! Except, which way is out? You got very turned around during that episode, and you are not actually sure how far in you are now.

Are Rianna's senses at all helpful this time?

All you can sense is darkness and death in these forests (as with the rest of the planet). You sense that the trees are teeming with life... but also death. It is a paradox, and it makes you uneasy.

Rianna still has that communicator that Rand gave her, right?

You do!

She'll pull it out then!

"Rand, what is this place? I'm lost in the forest and I've no idea where Vash disappeared to..."

There is static before Rand answers.

"Ah, the forest drew you in," Rand answers. "Delightful."

"...what do you mean by that?"

"It's not a pleasant place," Rand says. "But it is oddly alluring. Have you realized what is going on, yet?"

"There's nothing alluring about this place, and I want out of it," Rianna snaps. "It twists things."

"Why does it twist things?" Rand asks. "Or how? It doesn't just happen..."

"It was showing me...things...I don't want to remember that!" Rianna replies.

"I can't have my student refusing to learn, Rianna," Rand scolds.

"What's to learn from this? That I've done horrible things? I already know that, Rand!"

"No, no," Rand says. "The forest. Why has it been able to do this to you?"

"The...thing, whatever it was, that spoke to me...said that it showed me the Dark Side..." Rianna replies.

"And what was that thing?" Rand asks. "And not what you saw. What is it really?"

"I have no idea," Rianna says with frustration. "Something left from when the Sith held this planet I'm sure."

"Closer..." Rand says. "It certainly dates from that period."

"I don't know anything about this place, Rand, remember? Unless you're going to tell me they're the spirits or something of whatever lived here, how would I know what it could be?"

Did they leave any sort of trail through the forest that she could follow back out?
