Play through Trespasser ASAP. Solas, Solas, Solas means badass, badass, badass. After you play through it you'll know what I mean.
I'm nearing the end of vanilla Inquisition, should be starting Trespasser within the next day or two. I'm excited as I hear nothing but good things about Trespasser.

Unfortunately, it seems that the masses prefer open world games than linear RPG's that Bioware is known for.I agree on pretty much all points because that's what I felt after playing the game. But I will say that 80% of the areas are very diverse and extremely well made in terms of geometry and art design. The first Dragon Age had pretty open areas and it worked fine. It's just that most of it was filled with interesting side missions and lore instead of DA:I.
I loved Witcher 3 but when I look back, I still think I prefer the first Dragon Age. I was never invested in the "Witchers" universe as I am in Dragon Age and while the side missions were generally pretty fantastic, the main missions didn't have the same oomph as Dragon Age. Bioware knows how to get you invested in a story while I never got that feeling in Witcher. There was never a mission where I was like "HOLY ****".
In the end, Dragon Age is about the stories and lore and Witcher 3 was about being in the universe.
To be honest I think Origins is overrated. It's a good game but I never found it all that interesting and I wasn't as invested in it or the characters as I was during Inquisition. I think it has a pretty weak cast in comparison to Inquisition and Witcher 3, only Morrigan and Alistair really stand out, and Leliana is alright. I also think the combat is boring and the game starts to feel kinda like a slog to me. It handles choices better than Inquisition, but I struggle to really think of a way that the Witcher 3 doesn't trump it pretty substantially. I was a lot more invested in Witcher 3's story and world than Origins. It's all just preference, of course.
