Errr....as soon as he becomes sand, he is instantly controllable by Gaara. Is he not? This match up seems pointless because as soon as Crocodile tries to use sand techs with his body, I assume Gaara could use Croc's sand logia to essentially paralyze him. Croc can't due that to Gaara. He would have to try and fight him without becoming sand himself which greatly limits his defense and speed (since every speed feat we have seen from Croc involves him in sand for iirc) His speed wasn't really that impressive to begin with. He mostly stood still during his fight with Luffy, and every other fight we have seen him in he was pretty much sneak attacking people. I think Gaara could pull this one out if he keeps a distance and waits for Croc to turn into sand. However, if Croc does manage to touch him, he's screwed.
