Errr....as soon as he becomes sand, he is instantly controllable by Gaara. Is he not? This match up seems pointless because as soon as Crocodile tries to use sand techs with his body, I assume Gaara could use Croc's sand logia to essentially paralyze him. Croc can't due that to Gaara. He would have to try and fight him without becoming sand himself which greatly limits his defense and speed (since every speed feat we have seen from Croc involves him in sand for iirc) His speed wasn't really that impressive to begin with. He mostly stood still during his fight with Luffy, and every other fight we have seen him in he was pretty much sneak attacking people. I think Gaara could pull this one out if he keeps a distance and waits for Croc to turn into sand. However, if Croc does manage to touch him, he's screwed.

There's no evidence that Gaara can control a being who can become sand. The lightning ninja can shoot electricity, but I doubt they could control Eneru. Or I doubt any ninja could forcefully control Aokiji.

Key word was shoot here. These are different circumstances. No one so far in Naruto has been seen to manipulate lightining or ice the way gaara does with sand. I assume that's why you used those two. We have seen people manipulate water (Kisame, Tobirama, Zabuza) and fire ( several people) though, but still not to the degree of gaara's skill with sand. It's a stretch to say that Kirin was manipulation as it was still a shooting attack. Gaara manipulates, shapes, and controls sand on a wide, wide scale.

If its Gaara w/ Shukaku, I think its a possibility that Gaara would control Croc.Gaara w/o Shukaku, is anyone's guess.I may lean on the possibility Gaara w/o Shukaku wont control Croc.

My post was about more of control than power.I was assuming Gaara w/ Shukaku has better control of sands than w/o it.Of course, I will admit, I may be missing something 😉

I meant control as well. He was shown to be able to control well in his fight with the previous kages leading me to believe that his control over sand is just as good as it has always been.

I already wrote reasons it might be but without calculations could not continue. Not that it mattered as I simply pulled out more feats of gaara and his sand that showed he can compete with fast people not that crocodile is one of them.

Honestly, I was never even really debating that Crocodile could beat Gaara, as I honestly can't remember many of Crocodile's feats, I just wanted you to concede that the bone bullets were not proveable to be as fast as IRL bullets, and that Gaara is slower than Crocodile. And you have. 👆
