Anyone think Serenity is his best work thus far? I didn't know much about it when I saw it in the theaters, but it's damn near perfect. The humor was light years better than Avengers.

He did a good job with Avengers 1&2 but after watching GOTG, Cap2 I knew other talented directors could match the "MCU magic" as well or greater than Whedon did.

👆 Serenity is better than Avengers by a mile, times ten.

Most of Firefly is equivalent to if not better than Serenity. It's almost poetic how good Whedon made this franchise.

Yeah I'd agree. He'd do a great job with Green Lantern and WW. Since he's passionate about Batman, I think he'd do a great job with that too. Hell, I'm in for whatever Whedon chooses to do. Contrary to popular opinion, Whedon is actually one of the best in Hollywood at going to dark and emotionally raw places - he's not just snark you guys.

Oh, I forgot about SHAZAM with the Rock. I wonder how he'd do with that.
