Not what I expected.

Wow, what a ****ing amazing finale. This show has continually defied every expectation and has completely blown my mind by how good it is. That final episode was the perfect capstone to a truly great series.

Every time I thought the ep would zig it zagged, culimnating in a truly surprising and heart breaking end to a ****ing killer first season. Other finales should learn from this one.

I'm glad Merlyn won the fight though. He is a badass.

Yeah, I hope Olly wasn't lying to Tommy and he really is still around for season 2. I want Barrowman back! It would be soooo cool to see him after what happened this episode and to see how he and Oliver react. Season 2 looks like its going to be magnificent!

I had trouble enjoying the first half of the season but it eventually grew on me. Still at the end, the only characters I actually liked were tommy and slade...

I liked the Ollie/Merlyn confrontation because Ollie got his ass handed to him all 3 times. Even though I watched the whole season and will continue watching, I can't stand most of the cast (Ollie, his sister, Laurel etc.) with the exception of Slade and Merlyn. Hopefully they'll get less annoying next season.
