Curious of this show and most Likely Will start watching so I'm curious how many actual comic characters actually appear here and how well are they portrayed? I saw the royal flush gang and my first impression of them was underwhelming.

Why did I wait so long to see the finale? It was awesome and stuff and I'm about two weeks late but I don't care.

Well I have Arrow Season 1 and it pretty much warrants the same....

For anyone interested The Blu-Ray, DVD, and Ultraviolet combo pack retails for $70 and its on sale at Amazon for $42.

I used to love the original flash live action series from the early 90's. So yeah this is good news. Especially since it's from the creators of Arrow.

But I do also share Nephthys concern about introducing superpowers into Arrow's world. But hey it's the Flash, so screw it! Bring it on!

Is it worth watching? I don't want to watch Arrow if it is too lame. I, too, enjoyed the crap out of the 90s Flash show. But I was a kid. I also enjoyed the original He-man. I watched an episode of He-man, recently, and it is hilariously bad.

I recommend Arrow highly! If you ask me I feel like it already is starting stronger then Smallville. It won't last the length of time Smallville has im sure but I betting it gets to 4-5 seasons without problems.

I didn't LOVE the 90's flash but I own it on DVD and I do watch it from time to time!

Bringing in superpowers to the show is a good idea imo. Green Arrow operates in a world with gods and aliens in the comics, cartoons, etc. so the live t.v. show should be no different. I hope Slade gets his powers and becomes a bad@ss.

So I just watched the "Arrow Comes Alive" feature and they said the show is called Arrow because he's not The Green Arrow....yet. What they hope for is, over the course of the season, that he will eventually grow into The Green Arrow from the comics. I wonder how that would work exactly. They would have to turn him away from a darker tone to a much lighter tone.
