Doesn't feel right that Ra's would personally take care of her. He has plenty of capable agents for that.
Originally posted by Ridley_PrimeHim personally coming to kill her wouldn't really fit his character or the trope of a shadowy figurehead of an organization.
That's true, though if Ra's is to come to Starling City at all, what better way to make his debut than to make an example out of someone who tried leaving his clan before?
With Arrow, I found taking a break for a couple of weeks helps a bit. Some of the episodes have a LOT of drama in, which is fine for character development, but do tend to get quite heavy. It helps me to watch something else for a while, then going back to Arrow again. Also makes you appreciate the quality of the show again.
I feel compelled to say that the show is being horrendously over-sold here.
It's a mediocre, Smallville-esque kind of show.
Now that MAOS has followed my recommendations and dumped Skye into the background and given Fitz and Simmons more screen time, that show is beginning to build up a bit of a lead over Arrow.
Arrow is still burdened with a plethora of obnoxious female eyesores - the Lance women (both generations) - by the nauseating Amanda Waller (though the actress is definitely pleasing to the eye) and shitty dialogue and acting (on the part of the plank that plays The Arrow and Diggle too).
Felicity's nice, Summer was warming, the lesbian handni-err-League of Assassins women is very hot and Snow was infinitely prettier than either of the Lance sisters (and both multiplied with each other then squared) and Willa Holland ... who is now gone 🙁.

Nah, MAOS has just gone from horrid to watchable/decent viewing.
Fitz and Simmons are unlikeable characters who Ward should have killed. Dark Ward is by far the best character.
Arrow's still the clearly superior show IMHO.
But I do have high hopes for Daredevil next year. That has the potential to be on par with Arrow.

Arrow is the measure of "watchable". The kind of thing you put off the ironing to watch.
MAOS is something I'd watch whilst keeping Arrow on pause.
The Leftovers is something you'd skip in order to do next week's ironing and next year's tax returns.

He was miles better in this role than as Superman. I found his Superman boring (not his fault though), but his Ray Palmer stole every scene.
Maybe. I think he was more true to Superman than the current one (forgot his name).
But I meant as an actor. Playing Superman is (was) a big deal. Starring in a B grade TV show is not a good sign.

Well it's better than doing nothing. After Superman Returns flopped, he knew that was it for that.
But yeah it is sad because he probably thought that would be his break through role. But I'm sure he's still grateful now to CW to give him a job, improve his CV and grow his fanbase.
