That's bugging me a bit as well. And he really doesn't look like a heavyweight champion - he doesn't have the bulk for it. Plus, he should have beaten the crap out of Ollie when they fought. How can he be the heavyweight champion, who's been doing this professionally his whole life, and then get his ass kicked by somebody who has only been training for five years?
I get the show is named Arrow and Ollie is the hero, but bringing Ted in simply to have Ollie beat him up in pure hand-to-hand to me seemed... disrespectful.
even worse is the bullshit they've been pulling with Laurel since day one. She's supposed to be a waaaaaay better fighter than Oliver... no way that's gonna happen now, and if it does, it will be completely unbelievable.
heh. i've came to terms a long time ago that this show is what it is and will never be a legitimate comic series.
