The episode was pretty good but I couldn't get passed the shitty setup myself.

this episode was pretty terrible, mostly due to all the CW-ish crying shit by actors who aren't very good at emoting. I got ptsd flashbacks of terrible scenes from "The Vampire Diaries" during Felicity's outburst.

Also, The actress who plays Laurel is THE WORST. I may have to stop watching this because she's gonna be an even bigger part of the show when she becomes Canary. Also, i don't like her face.

That's nothing new. But this episode was pretty bad. Nonetheless I'm giving this season the benefit of the doubt considering how cool season 2 turned out.

Same here. I mean sure, the season's had a rough start so far, but am sure it'll get better sooner or later. Liked this episode better than the previous one at least, though that's not saying much. Even with the subpar acting a lot of the time, the show's still been pretty watchable for me, except when we get the redundant CW type drama with like Thea and Laurel, but I guess that can't really be helped. If Laurel turns out to be kickass as Sara's successor though, then I'll be fine with it.

Not sure where all the negativity is coming from. I really enjoyed this episode personally. And loved seeing Green Arrow and Red Arrow fight together.

The action sequences are as great as always on this show.

soooo, are they turning Thea into Artemis?

Oh yeah, was I the only one surprised that Ollie didn't go ballistic on Roy or scold him, etc. after he showed him Thea's letter? Like, "You waited this long to show me it?!".

Regardless, this episode was decent. Definitely a step above the last couple,

Spoiler:
even though they got sidetracked with Diggle being sent to check on that other guy instead of them finding out Merlyn was there
.

i liked tonight's ep... loved the mention of Gerry Conway....

watch and find out 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Best episode yet. Thea's back so I'm definitely gonna watch this more closely.

I like DC's approach of sticking in almost every "hero" they can in their two series.

Flash has already hinted at 2-3 more supes. Arrow's piling them on like mad now.

With the return of the League of Assassins lesbian, Arrow has a strong cast, once more.

The episode was very mediocre and felt very low quality. Blame the director, maybe? Pretty uneven and choppy imo.

I'm still pissed off that they killed off Sara just for some cheap shock, drama and plot set up. No one wanted Laurel to become Black Canary and fridging Sara to make it happen was seriously lame. Especially since this is the second season in a row to kill off a female main character just to set up another characters plot and motivations.

So obviously I'm not liking the Laurel plot.

Thea's plot was the most interesting, but was really rushed. She's so sick of everyone in her life that she'll skip town with her father the mass murderer, only to come back after a single heart-to-heart conversation with her brother? It needed more, as well as more devoted to fleshing out her relationship with Barrowman. I think this could have been much stronger as a focus episode for her. Or maybe if they built up her story more over a few episodes.

The Argus stuff was kind of just there. Basically filler.

Finding it hard to get into this season, personally. Kept flicking through tabs with it playing in the background. Not a good sign.

Well the CW drama wasn't as bad as the last two episodes but it was kind of lame however the fans should have seen the Laurel thing coming since the stupid jacket Easter egg.

Thea wanting to come back spontaneously might actually lead to something cool with her and Merlyn's story.

tonight's ep is the best of the season...

Man this seasons has been pretty bad so far. Hope it picks up again or I may drop it. I've got enough to watch as it is anyways.

Jeez we're only on the 4th episode, we've had decent episodes, just not on par with last year's yet.. And people are already complaining about how bad it is now and talking of giving up on it. Clearly Arrow doesn't have a strong enough fan base.

At least wait for Ra's al Ghul is what I would say to anyone's whose watched it up until now and is wanting to give up on it. Ra's and the Arrow/Flash crossover.

The ratings are up for 3rd week in a row. I'm liking this season a lot myself.

Matt Noble is NO Liam Neeson, there I said it 😄 but his appearance at the end was good..

your fault for coming in a thread the day after an episode airs. 😬

I accept 50% of the blame 😛

I just like to see what people's thoughts are on how good the episode is before I've seen it. But really people should use spoilers when an episode is still new.

Obviously if it's 2-3 weeks after the episode airs then spoilers are a given. But the spoiler tags are there for people who haven't seen something that's just come out yet.

But you're right as well. I should be patient and not read what people are writing until I catch up.
