At this point I'm finding it hard not to be constantly frustrated with everyone just passively accepting Malcolm's presence. When Oliver said "theres nowhere else for him to go" I just shouted "Um, ****ing prison maybe!?" Or hand him over to ARGUS for a sweet new bomb collar. Or just stick him on the damn island. Or anything other than letting the unrepentant mass murderer chill out on the couch. When Lance is ripping into him later for keeping secrets and Ollie's making the,"Oh shit, I am a total dick!" face I couldn't help but think, "Also you're hiding the fact the city's worst murderer is alive and living in your house!" There is zero reason to accept his presence willingly among them now, especially now that the already incredibly thin excuse of, "Ra's will kill Thea if we give up Merlyn!" has been removed (even Nyssa's reaction to Thea was basically,"Why the **** would we kill you? You're clearly not guilty"😉. The show keeps bending over to let him be there and I can't ignore that its just because they want him on the show. But it's straining credibility and there are much better ways to keep him in there. Also I'm annoyed Oliver
Spoiler:
turned down the deal. Since there was literally no downsides and only pluses. Felicity also could have mentioned to him "oh yeah Ray is actually gonna step in for you in a few weeks anyway so it would be totally cool for you to leave, lol!"I guess maybe its also that I'm getting tired of the show being an angst-fest and crafting poorly-thought out, forced moral dilemma's as opposed to Flash just kicking ass with it's straight-forward heroics.
Agree with pretty much everything. At this moment, I'm actually starting to cheer for Ra's. The angst is starting to become draining. At least Ra's doesn't spending three-quarters of every episode anguishing about every decison and the rest of the time lying to everybody and trying to keep the bad guys alive.
Bad episode.
Way too casual about the Lazarus Pit.
Become the next "Ra's Al Ghul"? Is there even such a thing? That is his name, not a title, even though it means "The Demon's Head". Just as ridiculous as some bimbo becoming "Thor".
And they are always undercutting Ray Palmer by making Felicity his clear superior. Something he couldn't figure out in two weeks, took her two minutes. And this isn't the first time. Felicity is already an asset to the team, there is no need to boost her up even further at the expense of others.

Agreed
This episode was better than the last few IMO.

I wouldn't of minded it either, but surprisingly Ollie ended up being more sensible again this episode.R.I.P.
Spoiler:though. le sigh
Deadshot
Spoiler:
That encounter was so extremely anti-climactic that I laughed out loud. Big, military-grade super weapon suit... gets taken out by a flechette. And I was also sitting there thinking when Ollie left "wait... what about Roy, who literally just got electrocuted and flung like a ragdoll." Deadshot was boss in this episode and I liked that we got to see his backstory. I highly doubt this is the last we will see of him though. Explosions are like the go-to comic book death when they want to "kill" off a character, only to have them return later. I mean consider what Ollie has come back from and what Sarah will still come back from, an explosion is by no means a definitive end.
Oh, that's true. Floyd sounded like he wanted to die though, is the only thing. Being attracted to by the redhead archer (Cutter, I believe she's referred to as?) is kind of a fate worse than death for someone like him, so couldn't blame him there.
Even before that encounter, this show's version of the Atom (the suit itself) seemed kinda tacky, so I wasn't too surprised there or expecting that much from the fight. Hopefully though Palmer adds more resistances/modifications to the suit each time something like that happens to him. Routh's performance/acting in the show is actually starting to grow on me.
