Because if Atom doesn't shrink, I don't know why they didn't just get Kord, who'd have made more sense for the Iron Man role.

Shoulda just had Kord anyway.

Ray Palmer (not calling him Atom, because that's not what this bullshit is), is quite lame.

it's depressing how much better The Flash is.

Ted Kord does make so much more sense, but guess they thought that the Blue Beetle would sound too silly for Arrow.

I wish I had more time to keep up with other things like the Flash when they come on, but plan to catch up on that at least when the 1st season makes its way to netflix or something.

In terms of quality this season of Arrow is pretty much the Dark Knight Rises of the series, while the previous season was TDK in comparison.

New episode was great!

Very interesting episode. Arrow seems to be picking up a little bit now towards the end of the season. Hopefully they can finish strong after a season that was a bit underwhelming overall.

Spoiler:
Considering Ollie is shown in League clothing during the promo for the Flash/Arrow crossover, it looks like Ollie gives in, at least temporarily, and joins the League.

No, it was terrible. They really did it. They did the thing. They pulled out an identical twin storyline to justify casting the same actress just so they could set up that gripping "Is she still alive????" cliffhanger that didn't get resolved for two weeks. Those b*stards. F*CK. This was a piece of shit episode FOR ****ING STUPID DICKLORDS.

Ok, I'm over it. The rest of the episode was pretty good. I hated the "oh does she love Oliver or Ray? Gehehehe!" bullshit, and the Ray storyline just fell flat for me completely because it could have just refused treatment and checked himself out if he'd wanted to. But the Lance plot was good. I guess.

Pretty much.

I squeed like a schoolgirl the moment Ra's explained the Arrow's identity to Lance, and then I was like "Really now?... 👇" at what Roy did at the end.

And yeah, the thing with Shado and the twin was bullshit, but I guess if she really was still alive, that'd make Ollie even more a liar since he didn't tell Slade about her in like the last episode he was in.

Oh, and for Felicity to still be an indecisive nitwit by this point between Oliver and Ray is just... facepalm

By this point my mind automatically just focuses on the main storyline and phases out the Ray/Felicity and flashback storyline BS. Honestly, the whole flashback bit of Arrow stopped being interesting to me a long time ago.

The twin thing didn't bother me at all really. The love interest thing was meh but I just expect that kind of stuff now a days. The over all plot was great. First episode this season that I felt really excited at the end.

Yeah, at least with the island of Lian Yu/Purgatory the flashbacks were actually going somewhere. Now it's just more random/all over the place and Waller is after them again because... reasons?

I suppose I ought to just phase out the character shipping stuff in the show by this point too though, yeah.

I guess I underestimated how much they're gonna up the antic with what it'll take to get Roy back and such. The rest I was expecting though. Hopefully this will be a worthwhile rest of the season like the last episode.

watched this earlier...i'm stoked

well, i'm a little relieved that they've at least introduced the development that Ray is involved with Nano tech. Hopefully he realizes (sooner, rather than later) that he can be a hero, not by using offensive type weapons, but instead using the shrink tech.

This also gives me hope that the current suit was just a first version and he'll eventually wear something closer to what's seen in the comics.

Ouch, talk about biting the hand that fed you.

He kinda has a point though, and I don't blame Bennett for being unhappy in how he had to portray Slade in like the last episode he was in. Will be even more sad though if that's the end for him in Arrow... His performance was what made a pretty good chunk of this show worth watching for awhile.

When is the season finale?
