Arrow

This is becoming such a drama, I'm considering watching Twilight for some comedic relief and less annoying characters. On the plus side, it makes me look forward to the new Daredevil and Punisher even more.

Speaking of the characters is actually a good point. I think Arrow partly doesn't get as much love because the cast/characters of the Flash, and even Legends of Tomorrow (overall at least), are generally more likable than the main people on Arrow.

last night's ep was decent

I also find Laurel to be annoying and was glad to see Oliver point out some of her hypocrisy.

Laurel is like a kid actor/character. Not finding them irritating in the episode/movie they are in is about the best you can hope for. Sadly, even most kid characters are less annoying than Laurel is a lot of the time.

just wait until they put her and oliver together lol

It would make Oliver look pretty bad if he left Felicity for Laurel or cheated on her with Laurel. Which means yeah it's probably going to happen sooner or later.

So Waller is dead now?

Well it looks like dat der Suicide Squad movie won't let Arrow have anything. Unless its a slight of hand in which case we can just ignore this whole thing.

Other than that this episode was filler.

Bullet grazed off a metal plate in her skull.

Or she was a clone/imposter/Waller Bot.

As much as I would dearly love for her to get gunned down, she's too important of a villain to get taken out so casually.

Why does arrow suck right now?

most likely...

as for the episode.. t'was pretty decent

It's not like the Waller, Deadshot, etc. of the Arrow/CWverse are of the same universe/continuity as the Suicide Squad movie, so why is WB making the writers kill them all off? 😬

Even though I know she is going through something traumatic it just bugs me to see Felicity whine. It's like she is mad at the world because she couldn't adjust to life in a wheelchair within 48 hours.

It's like when I was mad the day I had major spinal surgery because they weren't going to let me leave the hospital and go home on the same day as the surgery. Though to be fair I was on pain meds. Though to be fair Felicity is also on pain meds..though I've unfortunately never had hallucinations whilst on meds 🙁

And I bet you just loved that even the Diggle brothers now get flashbacks. 😏

That being said, other than the parts with Felicity and what seemingly happened with Waller, the episode wasn't too bad.

I'm actually thinking now Darhk

Spoiler:
might have specifically recruited Andy because of his ties with Reiter and the island. Seems too convenient that all these players involved in magic seen to be connected in some way.

Guess they are maybe afraid people will end up liking the CW versions more? It's irritating though, as I enjoyed the CW interpretation of Waller, Deadshot and the Suicide Squad.

Yet funnily enough, based on the Dawn of the Justice League special, they copied CW Flash's origin story almost exactly for the film version.

Aside from the cheap looking costumes, the CW version of the Suicide Squad was pretty rad. Though as I watch Supergirl I'm not sure if my costume complaint about them is really that bad.

If they are using the CW origin of Flash as a template for the DCCU version then that's pretty funny while also kind of weak.

I might have missed why but is there any particular reason why this show is focusing on Felicity all the sudden? I guess its better than focusing on Laurel but just barely and still doesn't make much sense to me.

Silver lining

Spoiler:
Katana made an appearance and did not get murdered for her trouble. Oh and Arsenal got to hang out for a bit
these things please me.

You can say what you want about the show overall, but you've got to admit seeing Ollie casually smack Merlyn around was pretty satisfying. 🙂
