I've literally skipped every single episode of Season 1 barring the fight scenes/the Flashbacks after once Slade becomes introduced and starts training Oliver/getting off the island. This show's writing isn't as good as Daredevil Season 1, so the subplots about Oliver killing people on his Dad's list aren't interesting, none of the characters have really stuck, and the constant drama/love issues with characters is boring. That and there was/has been little development on Malcom's character apart from when Deadshot tried to kill him, his issues with his son, and how he barely appears but Oh we get more scenes about the Nightclub and love triangle stuff!

Hopefully, the stuff with Ras and Deathstroke is way better than this crap

Like with your take on the Flash, I guess you're in the minority here. The thing with Ollie scratching off people on his dad's list was actually one of the interesting progressive parts of the 1st season; I liked how it knew where it was going with that. Malcolm becomes more developed later on, for better or worse, though he was pretty much better as the villain than an antihero if you ask me.

Deathstroke's arc is rather solid despite some problems on how we get there, but I wouldn't bother with the Ra's season, who was only memorable in like one or two scenes.

Tbh only reason I still watch this is because it's in the Flash Universe.

Kind of like the only reason I watch AOS is because it's MCU. But AOS is a better show than Arrow at this point.

I gave up on this shitty show.

Yeah, the season finale was dumb IMO, and just a poor ripoff of TDKR. Seriously wondering if I should bother keeping up with it.

I like the flashbacks showing Arrow's/Slade's history on the island, and seeing them on screen together is great. I doubt I'll watch Season 3 as the personal drama crap is too prevalent, and Ollie really isn't that interesting of a character to me. The amount of relationship issues with the people on this show makes it feel like a Lifetime made for tv movie, no thanks but Deathstroke is a badass.

Well I'm certainly dropping this show( and AOS) because I've had all I can stand of this. Though if S3 of Flash turns out to be decent then maybe there's hope.

I should warn you that the relationship dram only gets worse as the show goes on.

Far as Arrow, the mean-spirited soap opera crap was always an offputting part of the show, but the first couple seasons still managed to be great in spite of it. Then when S3 lacked almost all the good things the previous seasons had and the soap operas became more prevalent, it went to shit. It wasn't nearly as bad with season 4 thankfully, but the season itself still proved to be lackluster with how it ended. All that buildup, which delivered a weak ending (even though I liked how cool Darhk still was), both in the present and in the flashback...

I'm honestly not the least bit hyped for Flash S3. What Barry does in the end of S2 to have his mom again is just the worst kind of character regression I've seen in awhile. If the Flashpoint storyline or whatever turns out done well in S3, then cool, but how we get there, I just can't stomach. I guess I have more hope for it than Arrow S5, but that's not saying much.

Legends of Tomorrow S2 is my most anticipated out of the lineup, by a long mile.

Well I just found out that one of my Old DC Fav's is getting a PC Race Change and PC Pretty Boy makeover and going to be on Arrow Season 5.

What I want to say would make KMC Mods heads explode.....Maybe I will go get another Perma Ban from CBR ....again.

Yeaaaah... Expendables 3 sums it up best as one of you said in another thread. Definitely not feeling it with the trailer or the direction this season seems to be taking, so I guess I'll be jumping ship from the show too unless perhaps I hear better things about it later on.

Boring. Honestly I feel like I have to watch this just so I'm in the know how for the CW DC shared Tv verse.

I was already set on not coming back to Arrow and this trailer did nothing to win me over. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another "Everyone blames Oliver" show again.

Yeah, at this point, pretty much the only motivation I still have left to watch Arrow is that I don't want to miss something that might come up in a crossover episode, or that could have an impact on the larger CWDC verse. As a standalone show, I've completely lost interest in it.

May as well just read the plot synopsis of the episodes, watch whatever crossover ones the season might have, and call it a day.

Too many flashbacks, too much Felicity drama.

No thanks.

Maybe she'll break up with Ollie again and hook up with one of the Expendables 3 esque recruits of the season, and then have another love triangle from there. 😉

Don't forget the subplot where Diggle and Thea are still around, despite supposedly leaving, and are sitting on the sidelines backseat driving and criticising Ollie's decisions, and being angsty over whether they made the right choice in leaving the team. Because I can see that happening all too easily.

I actually decided to give the s5 premiere a go, and was pleasantly surprised. I found it better than expected from a story/character perspective. But not only that, the action/fight scene choreography was WAY better than it was at any point during the previous season. Someone must have changed something, because it actually looked really good for the most part. The one CGI explosion looked a bit fake, but tv sfx still has limits. The melee/H2H stuff looked about as good as it ever has on Arrow though.

Admittedly, the flashbacks are about as pointless as ever, as you always know that Oliver will survive to make it to the present day.

Agreed. I felt I was glutton for punishment by giving this a chance again out of habit after watching Flash (maybe I am, lol) but it really started out better than I thought, for some of those reasons. Admittedly, some of the later trailers got me a bit more interested than the initial one because of the villain. I feel Ollie's regressed to a point though by going back to the needless killing.

Well, he has explained his perspective on it, even though I feel it's rather extreme. But then I guess that being the mayor now makes his identity being outed an even bigger issue, on top of his new guilt complex about Laurel's death (it really was Diggle's fault though 😛).

I really was on board for the first two episodes of s5, but the third episode just went and shit the bed again. Back to Felicity being emo, Oliver getting blamed for crap that really is not his fault (two people do the exact opposite of what he tells them, but their actions are on him apparently), and Diggle having inexplicable, elaborate hallucinations, simply because of some guilt.
