Brilliant ending. Best finale I've seen of a show.
Spoiler:
You almost called it.However, I like the way it went down better than your version. It was a lot more satisfying. 🙂
I had no idea how the hell he was going to get that money to his family. That was some clever writing. I saw no way out of that situation especially since the show almost broke the 4th wall by basically saying, "Mike couldn't get the money to his granddaughter, there's just no way Walt's going to get money to his kids."
Also, I felt creepy as **** because I smiled when Walt smiled as he was taking one last tour of chem lab. It's the end I wanted but didn't know I wanted.

Agreed, I was really impressed how they handled the Schwartzes. I didn't really want them to just kill them off, felt too easy. The way they handled it was indeed very clever and unpredictable.I'm conflicted with the last scene, which I think was the point. It was nice that Walt won in some way, getting to kind of go out on his own terms, but I can't call it a happy ending in the least. Bittersweet, really. He won, but only in a game that he probably regretted playing by that point.
Spoiler:
To an extent I'd agree. It was "on his own terms" to an extent.... He ensured security for his family, but it was more "what was left of his family". Im sure he'd rather have played the game, and won but still have had Hank, his relationship with his son etc. But he was selfish too in his motives and right from the outset it was clear that it wasn't ALL for his family, it was for vigour asnd colour in his own life and his admitting it this episode was a real 'come clean'.
So much blood was on his hands though... from the Janes (and subesquently the passengers of the planes) and Guses through to the Andreas of the world, through to Hank and nearer quarters, the destruction caused to everyone whom lived too... Microcosm and macrocosm took it in the botty on account of Walt's empire building.
I loved how for both Jessie and Skyler, who at this point clearly hate Walt, there were still little flashes of love and admiration, as if they were reminded (as we were) why Walt is sympathetic and loveable in the first place. This episode was heavy on regret and what could have been.
Especially powerful was
Spoiler:
Skyler's facial reaction after Walt admits that he did everything for himself.
Words can't describe the levels of awesome that was this finale.
Spoiler:
Loved the way Walt punked the Schwartzes.
Spoiler:
Loved the way he provided Skyler with a clean slate.
Spoiler:
Loved the way he took out the Nazis and freed Jesse.
Spoiler:
Loved the way he finally went down, in a meth lab, ironically the one place where he had always felt the most "alive".
Spoiler:
Loved both the song at the moment of his death and the classic breaking bad theme that plays at the episode's end.
All this and much more is there to love about the "FeLiNa", which(as the title might suggest) was loaded with blood(Fe), meth(Li) and tears(Na).
Thank You, AMC, for this wonderful series finale.

Loved the way Hank finally put the ricin to use on Lydia.
I've seen better finales. Like G.O.T. And that was just a season finale.
I was hoping for it to be more spectacular and at last 2 hours with how slow pacing was. I thought Jesse was gonna die, like I wanted. Walt didn't have to die. He could've kept a couple million and lived out his existence and live with what happened and be content with closures and being alive. He'd see his kids from afar and maybe even start a new family. Walt was smart, but a lot of his decisions weren't.
And what happened to Walt's money the Nazi's stole? Is it still in limbo, did the authorities confiscate it?
By the way, imo, Mike was the best character on the show. Top 2 scenes in the series was when Walt lost it and snapped, going from anger to manically laughing, after finding out Skylar gave away more than a half million of Walt's money to the guy she cheated on Walt with and Gus's death.
Also maybe it's just me, but I never saw Walt as the self-centered, arrogant, evil, a.hole everyone made him out to be. I rooted for him and always thought he was just a guy, a man, a truly loving father trying to make sure his family was well off via his talents. I don't think he liked hurting people or did it as a trip. He only told skyler, that bich, he liked the power of it because it's what she wanted to hear. But he was always about family.

I think I will watch the whole damn series, again. I've only done that with 2 television shows: Dragonball Z and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

It's difficult to top the Red Wedding, that's for sure. But, many knew it was going to happen.
However, there is a difference between having realistic Middle-Age deaths and experiencing a virtual modern gang war between crime lords. Gonna hafta say Breaking Bad felt fresher. I was certainly upset about the Red Wedding when I first read it...even made me a bit angry and I almost stopped reading. However, I felt much more satisfied with BB's finale.
Just opinions and no one can be wrong about them.

More like what? He did his action in classic Scientist Supreme Heisenberg style, not like the brutish Rambo-esque escapade that people were expecting. The finale was as good as it gets. One can't ask for it to be better or anything more imho.
