An interesting thing which I just came across is that Werner Heisenberg died of cancer in real life.
I am guessing that's how Walt is going out as well; not via the ricin, not at the hands of the Nazis/vengeful Jesse/DEA; but the one thing which was the greatest uncertainty in his life: his own ill-health.

In fact every word you just said in that quote I could say back to you, only with weight and actuality behind it.
I think it'd be fitting that in his struggle to provide for his family in the event that they could've been losing him...His immoral behaviour resulted in him losing everything...Although that seems far too straight and idealistic a morality tale that isn't in keeping with the show and how it wants to portray the whole message of what makes a person good or bad...intentions or actions...

Yes the bit he expects where Gus arrives dressed 'again' as an antelope with a tutu with Tuco's cousins to shoot Walt Jnr may also not happen. Also, its meth, not cotton candy..
And Australia had nothing to do with the show it was Alberquerque, so the bit about Tuco's cousins having survived as Kangaroos was also likely to have been folly too.
