Thanos WAS put down. He wasn't killed but he had hawkeyes arrows sticking out of his back. He was bloodied and brought to his hands and knees. You think darkseid was beaten easily (which he wasn't) and thanos wasn't (which he was). What comics are you reading again?

1. How was he weakened? Not getting amped doesn't equal being weakened.
2. Thanos' durability is supposed to be beyond most of the heroes who were wtfpwning him. It's apparently not. Darkseid would have laughed the attacks of cap and hawkeye off.
3. It's evident that thanos was in denial. He was down and beaten. Badly.
4. Darkseid was destroying the jla. He messed up Hal and superman, one handed Wonder Woman, and took aquamans' trident to the eyes and was stated to be fine. His vision wasn't even affected. He only lost due to bfr after beating the league senseless. How many people did thanos take down before getting completely roflstomped?

2.false. Showings vary from what hurts anyone. I've seen Batman himself rock Darkseid. This Darkseid has a few showings and his eyes were stabbed. Thanos was attacked by three super teams collectively. In Thanos Imperative prior to being weakened a godkilling blade broke against his skin. Think for once.
