This is one of the few threads Iron Fist would actually win. He's faster and more skilled than Midnighter and can one shot him... case closed.

Arguably, there's nothing he has on MN with the exception of chi. And his strength edge isn't great enough to have him at a significant disadvantage.

I was referring to the rand wins because he's rand arguments that are just as annoying as the doom cliches

Not saying that the Midnighter wins but didn't he fight Apollo once? Was that a not serious Apollo or was that jobbing on Midnighter's part?

Midnighter's battle computer has never given him a significant advantage over anyone of merit. Zealot was beating him in melee combat until Maul interfered, and Zealot and Nemesis together have been unable to land a single blow on a character with Batgirl style body language reading.

Midnighter can't fight Iron Fist without getting tagged, and he can't get tagged without going down.

Midnighter was stalemating Zealot for hours. Even the guy who wrote the book was saying it was close.

He should have made sure that's what the artist drew, because the panels that were turned in and subsequently published had Zealot holding the advantage in unarmed and armed combat.

Got the scans, because it looked pretty close to me. Even your archnemesis (ODG) agrees as such. 😉

ODG jerks Midnighter off harder than Apollo does.

I never said it wasn't close, I said he didn't have the advantage... which he didn't. facepalm

Zealot had the advantage, but it was close because MN was smart and kept working her limbs, keeping her at bay. He still took the worst of it.
