i just hope all their kids are not jedi. at least have one grounded han solo-esque lead

with that rumor 'if' it turns out to be true, obviously they're getting idea's from the EU.

So... No Mara Jade then, eh? No Skywalker line offsprings then...

yes, clearly impossible to imagine luke getting married without taking ideas from EU. after all his OT performance buries the needle on anyone's gaydar.

huh?

it was pointed at about how the rumour mentions Han and Leia and their supposed kids.

i was commenting on how:

1-the rumor of luke procreating does not require previously written material to conceive. (hint: he likely has a penis all through the OT)

2-he came off as kinda gay in ep6.

again, the rumor is worded to include luke in the possessive "their", and its done twice in the same short statement.

like the harrison ford news, more info that will surprise nobody:

mark hammill:

First off, will he appear in Star Wars VII? "They're talking to us," he reveals. "George [Lucas] wanted to know whether we'd be interested. He did say that if we didn't want to do it, they wouldn't cast another actor in our parts – they would write us out. … I can tell you right away that we haven't signed any contracts. We're in the stage where they want us to go in and meet with Michael Arndt, who is the writer, and Kathleen Kennedy, who is going to run Lucasfilm. Both have had meetings set that were postponed -- on their end, not mine. They're more busy than I am."

"They're more busy than I am."

You don't say.

Mark Hamill's only busy when anything to do with Batman comes up for the Joker role.

I would have thought that eating cupcakes would be quite time consuming. I suppose he eats them quickly.

Well, this is good news, to me.

Here's hoping Carrie, Harrison, and Mark don't get greedy or bitchy and at least get some screen time. Honestly, I don't mind if they only make an appearance in Ep VII and VII and IX don't have them at all...as long as I get to see them symbolically pass the torch. 😄

right, so when they are intricate parts of the plot from beginning to end you're going to call them "greedy". cant wait.

I have a sneaky feeling that one of the OT trio will die at the end of EP VII, probably Luke.

luke does have the benefit of being a force ghost, so perhaps.

Hehehe

I wonder when TPTB (read: Ush) will see fit to start up a Sequel Trilogy forum?

only one that can do that is the powers that be absent (raz)

What's this new trilogy going to be known as?

I'll enlighten you so your tantrum can end gracefully:

Greedy, in this context, means they will want so much money to make a return appearance as to make it unfeasible for the budget so they will be written out. Or, greedy to the point to where they will not negotiate down their "price" to reprise a their roles making it difficult to spend the remaining money on other things.

Definitely not greedy because they want tons of screen time in all 3 films.

Errrr?

I honestly can't see Mark Hammill being greedy, tbh. Every interview i've ever watched with the guy makes him come across as a genuinely nice, humble guy.
