Disney acquires Lucasfilm; Episode VII proposed for 2015

They should keep filming without him though. They can make Han Solo digital like Yoda until he's ready to come back...or better yet, make him a puppet. This way they can stay on schedule.

No CGI for that British chick though. She needs to remain 100 percent real.

I hope she inherits the metal bikini.

Or just keep him in a space-wheelchair. Or give him a space-limp. And a space-cane, with a grizzled space-5'oclock shadow, and a space-drug addiction.

Make Han Solo in to Space House.

they may not have a choice if it's bad enough. have a new scene shot to explain the injury like they did in the ESB wampa scenes.

was apparently the hatch/ramp on the millennium falcon. faulty hydraulics.

and so it begins.

jj's going to kill our childhood heros off irl.

cry

weep

Certainly confirms the Falcon's reputation of a piece of junk.

😂

I read a news article that said he will be back in 8 weeks.

Let's see if Abrams can work around him the same way Spielberg did on Doom.

Yep.

Holiday for Ford.

a large hatch dropped on him because of faulty hydraulics. imo this wasn't just some "whoops" freak occurrence but the result of shoddy cut-corners engineering making for a dangerous work environment.

Bet Ford longs for the good old days of green screen and green foamy props… 😉

iirc they filmed the OT just fine without crushing anyone from groin to foot.

They didn't have any money then to buy such heavy stuff. 😉

i really cant think of any OT injuries with the set being at fault....unless you count mark hammil being bitten by a snake.

I just got off the phone with my Uncle, George Lucas.

He says if the door had been digital as opposed to real, Ford likely wouldn't have been injured.

One last thing he mentioned was not agreeing with Adam Driver playing Han Solo's son. He believes the role should have went to Shia Labeouf.

But I bet Shia was busy filming the reboot of the Indiana Jones series.

Indiana Beouf and the Secret of the Flying Monkeys.

Wow, if he can cry, then perhaps ep7 is gonna be good....

Honestly though, Kevin Smith is a bigger fanboy than I am.

To my knowledge he loved all of the prequels, especially Episode III.

I'm sure a tour around a Star Wars set would be surreal, regardless of who you are.

I'd be an awe as well.
