I dont think you know what your trying to argue here. Lemme fill you in. He posted the graveyard video and stated that AK was a tiny beam of green light. I responded with the fact that he didnt say the spell and the when he actually did the spell did not behave as it normally would. Example being the fact that expeliarmus is not a tiny beam of red normally. So in short AK was only a beam because it connected with harrys wand. Its what happens when the twin cores are forced to battle.

Except for that fact that he DID say the spell, and the AK is normally a beam/bolt of green light. Every time Harry has faced Voldy(except for the time when his wand acted of its own accord), his charm was displayed as being a red beam of light so that is irrelevant. The fact that the ghosts of the people whom Voldy had killed most recently appeared factored in with the basic definition of the PI clearly indicates that it WAS the AK which was cast in that specific instance.
When harry ducks behind the headstone colemort does not say the spell.
When they priori was activated he did. I never said he didnt. I said it was a beam beause of the fat that the wands connected.

There to settle the issue completely. Avada kedavra hits the entire body in the movies which is the entire point of what iv'e been saying. Stop using the ghosts to prove a point that doesnt matter. You just dont know how to read posts. I always said he used AK in the priori.

I always enjoy Placidity's comments and damn I haven't been a decent commentator hear for a whiles but....😆 Oh Come On!
Lets just focus on the original idea of the Asgardians.
Primitive Earth Gods existing in the Nexus of Reality and Odin's dad (Bor) stumbles on a powerful seed of unlimited power. Yadda Yadda.
Yet gets destroyed by a powerful sorcerer. And Odin rises to power and during the process creates the Destroyer Armor to aid him in intergalactic wars.I like Nibedicus' views as well though I can't be daft reading back on it all.
I agree that the film versions of the mythos of Marvel's 616 universe is off. But there is no reason to still assume it doesn't still exist along the lines of it. This is an odd fight.
It's MAGIC Quan. They know it and have fought it for an eternity.
Thor's armor plating is no doubt there for a reason.

The beam was their spells being connected as a result of the PI. The ghosts reappearing affirm my stance. I get that you want to dismiss it because they dismantle your strange premise. Deal with it.

LOL you go ahead and post vids that don't even have any relevance to the topic being discussed at hand? Your point about the AK encompassing the whole body is quite.....pointless when one considers the fact that the AK DIDN'T hit Harry in that instance. The beam was their spells being connected as a result of the PI. The ghosts reappearing affirm my stance. I get that you want to dismiss it because they dismantle your strange premise. Deal with it.
1. From the beggining the point of this argument was that thor would be hit by AK and that his armor would not matter, no matter how much magic resist it has.
2. He posted a vid of the graveyard scene. Proposing that because AK is a beam and does not hit the whole body thors armor would take the blast and he would survive.
3. I told him that when the spell hits the gravestone Voldy did not say the spell, therefore it was not AK. When priori was activated it changed both spells into a beam(As i have stated i never said it was not AK in this instance). Therefore his argument was wrong.
4. You come blundering in and take a completely pointless stance in an argument you werent even part of without bothering to go back and see where it started or comprehend the actual argument.
In short your ghost argument means nothing as no one said it wasnt AK during priori incantatem. Also it doesnt matter what spell voldemort cast, because priori incantatem shows you the last spells the wand has performed. Even if voldy had cast say Crucio, we would still see the ghost. So you just dont know wtf your talking about.

http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Killing_Curse
"There was a flash of blinding green light and a rushing sound, as though a vast, invisible something was soaring through the air -- instantaneously the spider rolled over onto its back, unmarked, but unmistakably dead"
The Killing Curse (also known as the Avada Kedavra Curse[3]) is a spell that causes instantaneous death and is one of the three Unforgivable Curses. Its incantation is Avada Kedavra.
The only known counter-spell is sacrificial protection, which uses the magic of love. However, one may dodge the green bolt or block it with a physical barrier. The Killing Curse, as an "unblockable" Curse, cannot be intercepted by another spell, except in circumstances of Priori Incantatem, where the caster and his opponent's wands and spells are locked together. An explosion or green fire may result if the spell hits something other than a living target.

Originally posted by RobtardSaid barrier can be shrunk. HP wizards have shrinking spells. Mjolnir can block one wizard at a time, and it cannot block Fiendfyre.
Slow today, eh?Point is that Thor's body is covered by a physical barrier with the exception of his head and hands. He can also use Mjolnir as a physical barrier.
LOL @ Thor running around with his hair on fire.

IIRC wasn't Volstagg covered in fire when he was thrown from the diner explosion? I don't recall it burning him

What's Fiendfyre going to do?
Thor's durability is through the roof, fire (even magical fire) that isn't hot enough to burn people when they are only a few feet away is going to do jack shit to Thor.

Cool shit, Broman Polanski. Proof that HP magic can alter Asgardian tech/magic? True, but Mjolnir can definitely kill more than one wizard at a time via lightning bolts, which travel pretty fast I hear.
Correct, Mjolnir can't block FF, but it can displace it via super-tornado. But again, FF isn't a fast spell. Casting that is a likely death trap, even from the lower tier Avengers like Hawkeye and Widow. *starts casting* *takes bullet to the face*

I'm all for Mjolnir being able to block, but I'm not sure the armor comes with the package deal. How do you explain AK killing it's targets even though it is really only hitting their clothes?
Is AK really a simple magic bolt, or does it "know" when it has hit it's target, including clothes/armor that form part of the person (screen feat/logic discussion)?
