That's pretty gay.

Dumbledore's flame that killed Inferi would have fried those goblins just the same.
Likely, due to range, but Gandalf's spell sent thousands of goblins flying, we're talking many tons worth of goblin.

Gandalf just knocked them on their asses. Big difference to what Dumbledore's spell would do to them.

LOL no. That explanation behind why Harry's wand acted the way it did was only given in the books not in the movies. What part of this don't you understand?

What I presented shows that wands don't automatically become indestructible during duels as you have sneakily tried to allude to throughout this thread.

If by "lost" you mean that I embarrassed you by presenting the exact piece of evidence that you claimed didn't exist, then you're definitely right.

LOL at this sh1t.

The reason in the movies is the same. Just because they don't flat out scream it during the scene don't act like you don't get it.

That was due to special circumstances. Context.

You know it's dead on accurate.

Question: What happened to the rest of the wizards in this matchup?
Voldemort killed them.

Fiendfyre. Keep ignoring this.

He sent thousands of the little buggers flying, many into the chasm below.

Thousands? Wat? Looked like a few dozen to me. 😕

Are you ****ing blind?

When he rescues the dwarves from the goblin king? Theres a few dozen goblins (30-40?) attacking the dwarves and Gandalf blasts them away. IDK, I don't remember the blast radius being that big.

He basically shook the entire cavern and knocked just about all of them up, down, around and over.

Due to their location but the blast just knocks people off their feet. They were also unprepared for the attack as well so there is that. The blast in and of itself outside locale is just a push.

The movies significantly deviated from the books. Since they never bothered to mention why Harry's wand acted the way it did, you can't automatically assume that the explanation for that sh1t was the same as the book.

The reason behind it was never revealed so we don't know. That's all there is to it. I fail to see why this should be dragged about any further than that.

It goes to show that a wizard's wand can be broken in combat, in opposition to your premise that they somehow become damage-proof during a duel.

So you believe Harry flat out overpowered Voldemort's wand with his raw power ? Nothing else involved, right ?

Just like the avada kedavra can fail to kill with the special circumstances we see in the movies. Context is everything and is lost on you.

The blast knocked almost every single goblin in that cave for a loop, even the ones hundreds of feet away up against the walls. And you can't simply prepare for something like that.

I'll post picks later of the before and after of Gandalf's blast. Since people love to lowball Gandalf.

Yes, you can. If someone cold cocks you it's going to have a much greater effect on you than if you know it's coming and tense up for it. That just knocked them down. A slightly violent push. Gandalf's attacks are laughable compared to Voldemort's.

It sent all of them at least a few feet into the air.

So ? It was just a violent shove. It didn't kill anyone by force of impact.
