After the latest trailer - I'm still not feeling much. I see a lot of the Ultimate FF in there, which I really like, but... 😬
It's a funny world when we hope a Marvel cinematic property fails, just because the fans smell blood and want it to go to a better, richer, shared cinematic universe. Strange times, but there it is.

This
I wont be seeing it and I truly think its doomed (no pun intended).
Even though Fantastic four has yet to come out, I read that bryan singer is interested in doing an x-men/fantstic four crossover and he says "it deals with time" and also depends on how good the reboot does in theaters.

This is what I reckon:
$300 mill or less WW, and Fox won't bother with this property again, and it will return back to Marvel in a few years.
$350mill WW, Fox will be on the fence and consider what to do with it, probably lean towards carrying it on.
$400mill WW, and sequels and crossovers are all but guaranteed.
On another note, unless there's a plot point they're hiding, the story seems to be basically like the first Tim Story one, except "more serious."
They all accidentally get powers after carrying out some groundbreaking experiment but Doom goes crazy evil with his powers so FF must stop him. The end.

Apparently, the film spends an hour in the Negative Zone,
That's strange, because according to Wiki the film is only going to run for 100mins:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantastic_Four_%282015_film%29
Also notice the budget (according to wiki) is only $122mill. So this film won't need to gross much for Fox to keep it. Probably $275mill ww would be fine for them. $300mill would defo be Profitable.
So perhaps the make or break on this for Fox will depend more on how well received it is than it's box office gross.

I'm going to contemplate suicide when the special effects in this end up rivaling those in Age of Ultron despite the movie having half the budget.
Hollywood has been overspending on their budgets for years now. Ant-Man and perhaps this should prove to Hollywood they're wasting (and sometime losing) money for no reason.
If you look at the soundtrack for this then there's no way they spend an hour on Planet Zero(They aren't calling it the Negative Zone, why would they when they aren't taking anything else from the comics?)
According to the titles listed there they won't even go to the alternate dimension and get powers until probably 45 minutes in, and Domashev won't show up as a villain until the last 15 minutes or so.
