How close could thor come to bench pressing the earth once?

Bingo,The book had infinite pages. It wasn't said to have infinite weight. Given the esoteric and logic defying nature of the feat. It having infinite weight does not immediately logically follow otherwise, infinite thickness, it consuming infinite space etc would have to follow as well...but we clearly see that they don't. It's simply unquantifiable.

Anyhow for this thread, Thor is not gonna be replicating the superman feat anytime soon if ever. Or even coming close to it really. On average the strength gap is noticeable but not gargantuan. But at the highest quantifiable levels, supermans feats thoroughly blow Thors out of the water.

Pretty much. Yet somehow I get the feeling that that isn't going far enough. At least for some...

What's up with you though bro? How's that masters thing working out?

Not explicitly no, but infinite pages should equal infinite weight.

Continuing with the "should" argument, shouldn't infinite pages also equal infinite size?

The book looked to be rather small.

The infinite pages thing was never a serious feat.

Ever. Don't even try to over-think it.

The book was also shining white light every where in the last panel crackling with energy.

I think the hint is that this infinite book is "not" your normal standard book here........ having infinite pages and glowing like a ufo.

Going pretty good. Its a pretty decent program with good placement opportunities afterwards. Thinking of doing a fast tracked MBA afterwards too since a lot of the courses cross over.

Sounds good man. Sucks for you that you're putting in all of that work for nothing since the world is ending in two days sneer

You claim you don't need to prove a negative, and yet you want me to do it?

You're the one claiming he needed help. That's a positive, so yeah, you would have to prove it.

I'm not going to pretend that Superman regularly lifts infinite weight. Your attempt at lowballing just isn't going to work either.

The burden of proof is on you though PR not me. We saw on panel superman having billy's help to lift the book. Simple. So post proof he didn't need his help since you believe he didn't. I don't need to prove he needed help, cause ya know, he did GET help. If he didn't need it, that would be on you to prove.

I can lift 1/1000000000000x100000000 of infinity. I'm as strong as Supes.

What's half of infinity? Seriously, use some common sense, or basic math.

Not really enough evidence to state it was infinite weight as a matter of fact, and the slowing down of "Eternity" isn't an infinite strength feat either.

Are you still under the impression the book ACTUALLY weighed an infinite amount?. Regardless of the the sillyness of that point... supes was shown struggling to lift it WITH help... Ultraman was shown lifting it on his own without any strain. See where I'm going with this now?

Do you know that half of infinity equals infinity? Have you gotten to algebra 1 yet?

Why are we arguing a non feat?

Have you gotten to physics 1? if the mass of the book was truly infinite you cannot lift it by strength alone. alone you implying supes strength is one order above infinity...somehow...

I just lifted a fraction of infinity, does that mean I'm just as strong as Superman?

It's comics man the idea of infinity being greater than another infinity happens way more than it should 😛

 you still don't get it do you. So tell me... if superman could lift infinite weight... why has he shown to struggle things such as a skyscraper and been unable to lift things? Surely, if you can lift an infinite amount of weight.. you would never even struggle in the slightest with planets.. skyscrapers.. shit.. you wouldn't be tossed around like a weak feeb as many times as he has if you could just overpower anybody with his johnson alone.. yet... he has. Interesting.

Everyone will feel my pain. Some before others is all.

Marvel Earth is denser, more special and more powerful than any regular planet, according to Marvel.

I don't think Superman could bench Marvel Earth.

It also explains why Celestials and abstracts can ravage the planet without atomising it.
