Team Wiz vs Team Force

If these were random Jedi or Sith, then it could be argued that the wizards could win. But the five selected are some of the best (not just in the films, but in entire Star Wars canon). Their speed and precognition are the deciding factors.

LoL, because the Gamoreans where "flailing" their arms about? No. People who are being choke, grab for their neck in desperation as seen with Admiral Motti, the Gamoreans and Padme.

Regardless, desperate and wild arm flailing do not = casting spells. Another sad attempt, but prove they can counter, or STFU already.

So you admit they move their arms. Do I need to post proof of tk used with simple gestures with the arms ? Really ? I guess in Harry Potter tk should be used more since they have no counter. LOL.

Derp. Dodge. Derp.

Derp isn't an actual response thus you concede.

And saying that the wizards being able to move their arms negates having a TK hand crush their larynx, and allows them spells is not an actual rebuttal.

No one shown being affected by Force Choke has been able to resist it, to think the Wizard's can is foolish.

The characters who have fallen victim had no way to counter. I mean it's not hard to choke someone away at a safe distance who cann't counter whatsoever. Why don't you think jedi and sith do it to each other in combat ? It is because they can counter. LOL.

How will the Wizard's counter?

Exactly how?

Tk to affect the jedi/sith with a simple hand gesture.

Have the wizards shown the ability to do that?

And have they shown they can focus when their throat is literally getting squeezed shut in an invisible vice?

You're giving them too much credit, as aside from their powers, they react like normal to pain. So the first thing they'll do is reach up to claw at the invisible hand on their throat. You know that's what they'll do, because it's what anyone would do.

They're not gonna go, "Oh, wow...feels like my throat is collapsing. Let me stand calmly here while I run out of air and try a spell. Doopey dooopy doo."

Voldemort was focusing while he was drowning in a giant ball of water. All it takes is a simple hand movement. Acting as if powerless individuals with no counter available is the same thing is bogus.

They have great reflexes more so than a regular human being. You thinking a jedi can force choke any wizard to death with no recourse is moronic.

Quanchi still hasn't figure out that you can hold your breath for some time while underwater (and be calm) and you can't do that when the circulation is being cut off to your brain from a neck squeeze.

The guy was being tossed all around in a bubble of water with pressure all over him. He got out and didn't miss a single beat. One simple hand gesture of tk. This is a laughable tactic and a desperate one.

LoL, you can't counter this:

Acting like what Voldemort was going through was just holding his breath like he was on some water ride is amusing. He didn't lose his wand or his concentration without any oxygen. He easily destroys Luke.

I feel like fiendfyre is being really undersold here ... you could have one person cast fiendfyre and I see no reason why it couldn't wipe out the entire Jedi side. Voldemort could fly overhead or teleport behind the Jedi, pop one off (which he needs neither a wand nor spell to do), and then there's nothing the Jedi can do. Fiendfyre is a ridiculously powerful spell, especially against non-magic users who can't counter it. Fiendfyre-bombing cannot be countered by the Jedi.

Some on here think a simple force choke can take out all the wizards at once. You have to strike at the fanboys hearts. No mercy.

Like comparing holding your breath underwater to having the circulation cut off to your brain from a choke is indeed amusing.

Luke isn't in the this fight.

You're drowning and it gets worse with each desperate reach.

Then quit bringing up Luke feats, fanboy.

The same applies with choking. We can see Voldemort using his arms and not once did he drop his wand.

It's not being undersold. The wizards ability to do whatever they want and whenever they want when there's faster attackers here is indeed overselling the wizards.

Voldermort did try that 'teleport behind and attack' move; Harry Potter was fast enough to turn around and block. Are you telling me Harry Potter is superior to Master Jedi and a Sith Lord when it comes to speed and battle-awareness?

Fiendfyre can be countered. A) Kill or incapacitate the wizard before it's cast. B) Force push it right back onto the caster as they cast it. Granted, it will then be wild and attacking all. But that's one cooked wizard.

Derp. Dodge. Derp. Force choke is a Jedi power.

Still haven't figured out that being underwater isn't like being choked. Sad.
