I dont think that if WW had her weapons this would happen. I also dont believe that if Superman went all out he would lose. If MM went all out would he have those powers he had when he was throwing fire? He also has plenty of mental powers that he could attune himself with every person on earth, and grow to giant size. Every person in the JLA is there for a good reason.

The next panels prove it, but still, you would think one would notice the yellow streak was actually used to show speed of flight and movement.. a common theme of comics at the time.. Soo whether one was punched or flew.. the artist would still draw a yellow streak indicating the speed of which the character is moving.

Thanos explitly says that Thor would get knocked out after a "few more" blasts after the second blast and he was fighting both of them before that blast. It wasn't the start of the fight.
Superman getting beaten like that has nothing to do with thanos here, its not like thanos doesn't have any low showings even after Starlin retconned most of them. For example a simple blaster knocked him out once briefly

Thor wasn't stated or shown to be 2x than his normal self. He didn't really start tapping into the gem until Strange and Warlock blasted him. And when Thanos put him in a force block did it mention this.
Force blocks, multidirectional blasts (not omni)? Superman can go intangible, he has super speed and ftl reflexes and mobility to avoid such attacks, Thanos doesn't have omni directional attacks (he once used a multidirectional attack though). Thanos multidirectional attacks are far weaker than a straight beam attack since the power is spread.
Thanos has shields for defense yes but
1. he must let them down to attack
2. they can be crumbled by Superman after pounding
3. Superman is really faster than Thanos (beat him to the punch sometimes)
