sam

This is true.

...Still baffling, though.

The only thing that Sok even shot that had some sort of immortality and a healing factor is Cass.

But oh no, that's pis because the character was like Deadpool and no way should it be useable in defense of Thanos who was also like Deadpool (except way more powerful in every way)? No we should focus on him killing the no feat angels who got trashed consistently throughout the comic (Custer gave one a massive bruise with one punch), and who were killing each other with iron weapons.
Would Satan and AOD follow their power levels, considering they're both angels? Maybe.
And then there's God who was worldly and he most likely created the planet on his throne, since he was kind of pathetic...his feats are ripping Custer's eye out, and rezzing him directly after dying. He was a manipulator for love, not some all powerful being. Honestly, nothing he did, or could have possibly did is above Odin, and that's factoring in him being on his throne.

Sok shot through tank's. That's it. That's the big feat where nothing would stop his bullets. Impressive yes, but not even on a meta level. This is not evidence of him breaching Thanos' shields.

If a guy with the exact same feats on the exact same level happened in main marvel or dc, they'd have him go against Low heralds. Especially against a guy who's been hit by the IG, got a sword meant to kill him slosh around in him for like a minute, among others already said.
And another question, but how does Sok killing kill able beings mean he can override an actual universal abstracts power and kill Thanos? I mean no shit the guns going to kill anything when you only have one guy in your entire comic with a healing factor and a source of immortality (and he survived, imagine that). We suddenly no limits fallacy to include immortal beings and generally anyone? Laughable

Also, did Bently just bring up Hawkeye's arrows? I sure hope he likes the Cass feat then.

I would like to know why SOK would fight a herald in a comic that doesnt have heralds. I would also like to know why his bullets that never miss would not penerate the shields.

Drax did kill him, correct or not? Is SOK death for his univeres yes or no? When Death was introduced into the cancerverse what happend? Thanos was an avatar of death and killed so called immortals. SOK IS death.

But I guess to please you SOK has to go fight the silver ****ing surfer lol

Oh and please bring up that retarded PIS about him not killing a vampire again. Because we all know that Thanos is undead like a vampire. The entire point of the bullets going through the tanks is that it showed that no barrier could stop the bullets. Forgive the writers for not dropping a few metahumans into the frey of the united states army. Maybe next time they will drop Captain marvel in and SOK can kill him. Im sure that will please you.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that a.) people are saying God is weak because he doesn't have feats, and b.) that people are comparing Thanos to God?

That just seems weird to me.

It's not really that weird once you understand the fact that -
A) He was off his throne and depowered (as evidenced by the fact that SoK's himself said he couldn't have killed him while he was on his throne AND the fact that he didn't do jack sh|t worth mentioning off his throne)

B) Thanos >>>>>Preacherverse "God" off his throne. This isn't really debatable unless you can provide on panel proof disputing this.

Your entire post is a no limits fallacy.

He wouldn't, because Preacher wasn't meant to show that. But why would you think Sok kills anything in a comic with "no heralds" is beyond me. It's retarded.
His bullets never miss... because they're meant for God damned humans, and human technology. Should we start saying that Sok can just shoot through adamantium because they never miss? Stupid point.
Suddenly Sok shoots through shields that Galactus had trouble getting through just because his bullets never miss.

Drax killed him, because he's the only one who could, who was given power from the grand daddy of Eternals. A steak in the heart if you will, which is funny because while a steak kills vampires, Sok doesn't.
Sok was never shown as death for his universe. Sok was shown as death for a pantheon that was shown no higher than Odin's.
IE, if you want to go that route, we might as well have Hela killing Thanos in threads... overriding Death. Except Hela actually contrains really really powerful beings in her realm, including Odin at multiple times... so I don't know if that's fair to her.
Also lol at comparing Sok to Death. When Death was introduced into Cancerverse she destroyed an entire universe, and laid out Shuma Gorath. I don't know how to end this point because her destroying an entire universe shows that Sok is absolutely nowhere close. Plus, their powers don't even work the same.

I'm not the one making claims based on nothing.

Why is it PIS? Was Sok killing immortal beings in the comics? Was Sok killing guys that could actually heal from wounds in the comics?

It went through tanks, and now no barrier could stop it? Maybe no human barrier, I'll agree to, but just because something went through tanks doesn't mean it goes through anything from any universe. Where does it stop? Do we go just a little above what it's been shown to go through (IE, nuke proof doors), or do we just go buck wild and say "lol everyone who failed to get through Thanos' shields are pussies because SOK went through a tank!!!".

I don't need to forgive the writers for anything, because Ennis' intention wasn't for Sok to be in vs threads. Maybe you should be cursing the writers because Ennis didn't give you the proof you need to prove anything.
His story was self contained, he wasn't trying to write something that's relevant to any other story.

LOL your hilarious dude. You basically make arguments that dont prove jack shit.

WHat did you want him to do off his throne? He was on a ****ing vacation. But you can be like that bro dude and imply that any redneck could have killed the preacherverse god.

You can also be dumb like you are zop and imply that Thanos can create his own univers. Even the presance in Lucifer got off his throne and his throne left alot of power it was enough to make two trolls more powerful then Lucifer and Micheal. Yet the Presance was still more powerful then Lucifer and Micheal off the throne.

In all these pages youve done nothing to prove your case. You got some stupid scan that basically proved for us that every wound was fatal. THANK YOU

Did you just use a series in which people were actually shown on panel creating universes as proof of something?

God of Preacher wasn't even said to have created a universe.

Korvac could have been the God of Preacher for God's sake.

Now imagine him actually trying to create a world instead of taking 4 panels to do so. Creating a handful of low level angels and humans, and having them breed. Yeah... I could see it.

In other words, Preacher God was not on the same level as Marvel God, DC God, or Spawnverse God.

WHy would they need to say that the Preachverse god created the Univeres? He's the god of the freaking universe.

Your entire argument is just an argument. You cant really prove any of what your saying. There is no proof he's not on the same level as any of those guys.

Because he wasn't God of the universe. Besides what I said, why would God of the universe reside in a place where he only watches one planet in the universe he created? Why would he only care about one planets love? Why would he only be said to be worldly? Etc

Just an argument? All of your words are words, with letters that follow in an order with spaces and have punctuation afterwards.

No, you can't prove it. I however can prove that the other characters have vastly superior "God feats", and all you can say is "I lack proof, but he should be here!!!"

Hell, I'm putting God on his throne on a level with Odin... someone who's raced across galaxies, reigniting dead suns on his path.
I can't prove he's on that level, but I feel that's being generous as all ****.

Of course though, you have a scan that says Preacher God created a universe, so I'll let you post that.

Oh, just remembered something, and it's a good thing I did.
From the first issue of Preacher, Heaven is placed in the stratosphere, and Genesis comes out of the rising sun.
IE, the universal creator placed heaven (where he used to rule until he ran away) on Earth.
http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/m610/sonnendawg/SOK/Preacher-Issue01-page10of40_zps952fde2a.jpg

Because he created an entire universe, and he's like "Ya know what would be a great place to rule for all eternity? Earth!"

You've been zopped

You're just buttsore that Sok's hype is finally being questioned, context masker.

Preacher God created the universe, get over it.

He could make heaven in Burger King, who cares.

No, I get it. God is Odin-level while on his throne. Therefore, God off his throne MUST be, what? Around street-level, maybe low-meta? Therefore Thanos wins.

Makes perfect sense. 👆
