yeah that was announced not to long after the rumors of MJ being recast got out. They say that they are doing it so they can continue to focus on Gwen and Peter instead of doing the love triangle. Although, speculation is its because they plan to recast her with someone else and add her to 3.

I like the new origins story. My only gripe is they can't have Spider-Man team up with anyone else. Wolverine and the X-Men is Fox. Avengers is Marvel studios.

We got a picture of the Green Goblin in Amazing Spiderman 2 (at least the toy version). Looks like they went with the Ultimate design, which I'm happy with.

Yeah Ultimate version will suit the movies much better. They just can't seem to do a decent looking costume for the classic version.

Of course it's all just specualtion based on the toy-line I believe.
