wizards can teleport city-wide distances, so they'll be able to teleport anywhere in the 469 square miles of Los Angeles they want. Also note the energy blast at 0:47-0:54, which all wizards will be able to do.

Wizards can also cast fiendfyre without saying a word (0:58)

Wizards could telefrag them with 100 fiendfyres , and that's about 3,000 men lost in that attack alone. The US body count will only get higher, because they have no way to tag these teleporters who can...well..do magic with a relative hand wave. One again, note the massive energy blast (1:34-1:51) and mass telekinesis (1:52-2:01), which, again, every wizard has.

But then again, how is the army going to penetrate the mega-shield to enter the city in the first place?

You can see the massive power of the shield at 4:13-4:30 when the hundreds of bolts couldn't penetrate it. As you can clearly see in 6:10-6:22, each of those bolts had the power to destroy buildings, and hundreds of bolts couldn't penetrate the shield. It should be noted that that was only cast by a few wizards, and the mega-shield in this thread will be generated by EVERY WIZARD TO EVER BE IN THE SERIES . So the shield will be impenetrable even to an airstrike.

0:25 - 0:29 was Tom, his feats can't be used for the average wizard and there weren't even 10 wizards in the entire series that were shown as able to cast/control fiendfyre.
