Yeah, The Army side have basically lost. They claimed the wizard's mega-shield couldn't protect them. They failed. The claimed the wizard's weren't amped, defying HP canon. Once again, they obviously failed. They basically have no arguments left. It's going to be time for them to concede soon. Maybe even on this page 🙂

So OP says they are imperio-ed which means amped, they have a shield which can protect them, and they have 469 miles to teleport throughout. The US has only Copperhead missiles (because that's all that was in Battle: Los Angeles) and no nukes. You lost not based on tweaks to the thread, but because you were proven wrong, and now you are butthurtt about it and want to cry to the mods. As far as changing how the spells work, it's the OP. You have to follow it. I'm sure the mods will tell you when they bring you your tissues.

It's any non-nuclear weaponry the US has in the movie. Did the military use any non-nuclear airstrikes? I know they carpet-bombed Santa Monica, but as I've repeated vertabim, that's only 15 miles, and the wizards have 469 to teleport through, and every wizard in the series+imperio amp=mega shield strong enough to stop the airstrike.

Actually, going back and looking at the movie, the entire reason his group was sent in to get people out, was that the Air Force was going to carpet bomb LA.
So their entire argument about number of bombs has been nothing but them trolling.

Military was about to obliterate via bombing a zone of the city, why Nantz and crew sheltered down with just a few minutes on the countdown clock to go, but it didn't happen since the aliens had already obliterated the Forward Base.

Great, that means at best a couple dozen of the HP Wizards get to cast spells and only handul of those get to do things like teleport or use fiendfyre.
