Bio:
Faith Roseguard is daughter to Daryl and Hikari Roseguard, Her father is CEO of RoseGuard Labs, a rival to Star Labs and Wayne Enterprises in developing new technology and medicines. Faith was born with a progressive cancer that threatened to take her life, her father refused to accept her fate having access to the best doctors and medicines that the western world had to offer. However, nothing seemed to slow the aggressive cancer and it would not be long before her tiny body would give out. Daryl Roseguard still refused to surrender his beloved daughter and had his best working on a cure using his vast resources. A-would-be-cure was discovered, however, it came with a high risk of finishing what the cancer started. Running out of options Daryl and Hikari both agreed that the risk must be taken to save their daughter. The cure was administered and it seemed to take effect immediately and soon the cancer that threatened her life would begone without a trace, even more surprising Faith started developing faster, becoming stronger, and leaping over milestones faster then an ordinary baby. Unfortunately the "cure" was unsuccessful on others suffering from the same illness as Faith and was latter asked to do experiments on the girl to find out what was different in Faith that made the cure work, her father refused and buried the project and paid for silence on the subject and even Faith would never know of her brush with death.
Although Faith was born into wealth she never liked to be waited on, she liked doing things her own way and quickly took a liking to marshal art movies especially karate movie star Charles Morris. At the age of seven she begged her parents to be taught karate and soon she would have a master to teach her the art and to no surprise to her parents she excelled quickly and soon she would take interest in judo and it wasn't long before she was being taught by her idol and gold medalist Shauna Moucy. She would compete in many tournaments and easily win, that was round the time she discovered that she was not ordinary. Faith would keep this to herself and quit competing, having an unfair advantage over the others just didn't seem right, she would tell her parents that she just wanted to focus on her studies.
When she was around 14 her parents had decided to move overseas due to work, Faith didn't want to leave her city and with a lot of convincing she was able to talk her parents into leaving her in the care of her long time nanny. Her parents would rent her an apartment for her and an adjacent apartment for her nanny, and for the first time in her life she would truly be able to take care of herself, kinda. Currently she is a senor at Murakami Academy in Jump City and working part time at a cafe, she works hard not wanting to rely on her parents money and hates it that her peers only see as rich girl with no problems. Recently she has spotted the Teen Titans fighting crime and this has inspired her to do the same, she has even created her own costume. A black leather sleeveless top that doesn't quiet cover her midriff and has a bright yellow star over the left half of her chest and matching leather leggings and combat boots, over her eyes she wears a black and yellow masquerade mask and becomes, Rapid Star!
Now Starry, you know there's a character archive that you created for the sole purpose of updating characters and adding new one, right? You forgot?
Also, am I to assume that it is a different day than what it was in me and Starry's last, combined post. I suppose it would make sense for it to be. With the things Phoenix and Xan have coming, I'm not sure how big the new villains are supposed to be. Wouldn't that distract from the Big Bad? But I'll go with it just to have something to do.
Another question; who else, besides Olli, is at the Tower? I know that Athena is currently out of it. And I'm assuming Clive is the "teammate" Athena is referring to. Is Red X at the Tower? I'm not sure if Nova has reconnected with the Titans yet and because of that, I don't think she'd be at the Tower. So that would leave Matt with Olli, right?
I explained it to O. It's not really his own strength it's the winds strength to be exact.
It basically works like this
Austin manipulates the wind around any body part he wants and it shapes like say an arm or leg but it shapes a couple of inches from his actual skin. So basically it's not really his own strength it's just how much power he puts into the wind. I'm not saying he could just pick up skyscrapers if he wanted to seeing how he can't put in enough power to do so. This is different kind of ampage from most people who amp.
I got the idea from some comics and an old show I used to watch.
I did, in fact, speak to GCS about this via PM. I haven't gotten a response to my last message to him, however. I'm not a fan of him progressing his character's powers with only a few posts involving him. I PERSONALLY don't believe Austin has done anything significant enough for his powers to develop more aspects just yet.
There are many reasons for this idea. I won't go into detail because for every character, it is different. If you wish to go over this via PM again, GCS, just let me know. We HAVE to keep this and all of our characters balanced. Not just for the story, but for all players involved.
I agree. I don't believe that any new characters (or many of the old ones) have done anything that could be deemed as character progression. Again, MY PERSONAL OPINION. But I AM stating that there should be NO new powers/skills/abilities out of the clear blue. Characters should progress naturally and over time with practice and training. Not simply because something seems to fit with your powers.
