The New TEEN TITANS! (ooc)

I think in some situations, new powers/skills/abilities can be applied, but it HAS to be shown happening in-game and for sufficient reason. For example.. Nova gains accelerated regeneration. She does so because in-game, she catches the attention of someone by an actual mission (not off screen) and they kidnap her, then hook her up to a table and begin doing tests to her to force a mutation. I would also either roll dice or flip a coin to determine the result (5 or 6 means she survives, 3 or 4 means mutated but greatly damaged, 1 or 2 means dead).

So I noticed something. I've been only looking for Xan's post but finally said to hell with it and tried reading some of the other posts (reason is because these have nothing to do with my character). I realized instantly why I didn't read them, they were so long, lol. Not that I disagree with long posts, I like when people do them, it just sometimes gets hard to read when I let them stack up. Ahem, back to what I was going to say.

I assume that O was the first to post about the attack. I was impressed with the work that went into it, though was a little disappointed by the follow-ups from all of the other Titan's with their easy destruction of each android. If these are the same androids that I mentioned before, the ones that fought against Nova, their combat capability is much greater then I've seen them portrayed. I guess I thought when people would use them, they would take a hint of that from my post. Not that I have an issue with anyone defeating them of course, but I thought it was implied that Nova had to really kick up her power (Go into her Super Mode) to defeat them. I might have misread this but for example.. Athena throwing out a mind wave that destroyed 30 of them at once or Austin somewhat effortlessly taking on what I can only assume is an animal variant of them (T-Rex no less) with absolutely no effort.

Maybe I'm looking too much into this. I just wanted to point this out because these enemies were supposed to be more.. 'tough'. Something different then the run-of-the-mill bad guys. I felt a little embarrassed having Nova have such a difficult time taking on maybe 10 of them while everyone else is effortlessly annihilating them. (Though after reading through some of O's parts with actually fleeing from them at times, I suppose that does make it better). The reason that I have a problem with this is because their presence is supposed to issue more challenge. Force the Titan's to actually come together and eliminate much of that doubt about joining the Titan's for the new members. Get it? Please... I'm worried this is going to sound horrible so please don't take it the wrong way.

On another note!
Nova is going to wear her Super Outfit from this day forward, regardless of if she is in Excel/Super mode or not.

yeah I agree, I didn't like my post and felt like I was forcing it while I was writing it but we needed something to continue so I just did whatever...

You did post something somewhere in this thread that states the robo-dudes were sent by the Big Bad to test the new team of Titans' skills and abilities, Phoenix. But I think we all just wanted a battle. We all have to step up and read a little more and work a little harder for this to turn out the way it should. My personal opinion.

It's fine. I haven't just been RP'ing for a long time but I've been RP Fighting for a long time, so things like focus on battling is easy for me. And it's nothing to worry about, lots of people do the whole "All enemy R' Fodder" thing.

As far as the droids, mechs, whatever they are that you're all talking about... I honestly was moreso responding to Werewolf's introductory post where he sent a good deal out into the city. I don't know if that's the case for everyone, but... Anyway, post is done. Honestly, I'll probably leave Kestrel open for interaction for a short bit before I post again, just in case I end up like I was on this last one. I've been thinking on that post for a good few days. Writer's block and all. x.x

The way things are going, Kestral may be meeting up with a couple Titans pretty soon.

Xan. It's his move and he hasn't posted. I've been trying to ask if I can post for him but he's practically ignoring my texts and when I do get him to respond, I either forget or he doesn't respond -.-... I'm sure it's not his fault, he's probably either not getting them or they get deleted.

Okay, now it's my move. Finally caught Xan and I can post for him. This is gonna be a big one so pardon me for however big (or small based on how much will be put into it) it turns out to be. I have another RP going on in another site and a big event (WAR!!!) going on in a game tonight so it might be a bit difficult but I'll get this post out before the weekend ends and you guys'll love it! Determination!!

I am very sorry to everyone for my hiatus. I got so focused on making sure I was taking care of my education I lost track of this place. Things are better now and I'm back to giving KMC, if not my full attention, then enough to get things moving, if anyone is still interested to see what's in store.

Hopefully, Werewolf is still around as I plan on responding to. their post. But first, are we still following the episode guideline?
