You do realize that most cosmic characters have shown the ability to amp-up during battles...The funny thing is Odin even comments that he is connected to a near limitless source of power during his fight with Thanos. He was matching Thanos near Infinite powers with his own.

That’s like me using Galactus was holding back in all his fights because in one battle he used the Ultimate Nullifier or he absorbed all his opponents….Now I go into every thread and claim Galactus was holding back because he didn’t do those things.

Using your logic Odin has been holding back his whole life. This notion is laughable at best.

If you had any knowledge of Odin or the other charcters mentioned you wouldn't have had to ask if they were more impressive than the Thanos fight.

So are you going to tell me? I hope you remember the question at hand.

Odin fighting superior opponents has no baring on his failure to bring down Thanos who was too durable for Odin to put down. It's not like Thanos was only durable again Odin his durability has been shown time and time again.

The question at hand was whether or not Odin was going all out in his fight with Thanos, his performace in the fights I mentioned make the answer to that question rather obvious.

Odin was holding back against Thanos. What's there to dispute? He wasn't being gentle with him or anything, but he could have accessed a lot more power.

It's like Thanos fighting Base form Goku. Let's assume that Goku wins after a good, bloody fight; he wasn't pulling his punches but he didn't go Super either etc.

Here are some lines from the issues:

Moondragon: “ Thanos doesn’t have the Power to face down Odin!”
Adam Warlock: “That remains to be seen. The limits of the titan’s might have never been fully tested.”

Odin: “Titan, you tap into a power source both dark and nearly limitless, as I am connected to a similar reserve

Odin: “It Has been EONS since I have fought such a FOE. Even in defeat you are an adversary worth SALUTING, Thanos of Titan”
