Collector had random tech that Tony either put together, or he had already that can just one shot Cube level beings.

In-Betweener and Stranger were also Elders of the Universe, and everyone was like a thousand feet tall... because when you think of Champion, you think a thousand feet tall...

Thanos was one of the best villains. In the early days Starlin made him entertaining (a lot of Starlin's earlier stuff is pretty interesting - Warlock, Thanos, Captain Marvel, Dreadstar etc). Later on Starlin and Thanos both went off the rails. If Thanos had stayed dead after that classic ending where the spirit of Warlock killed him, it would have gone down as a great story and that would be that, but instead Starlin revived and ruined him as is the way of comics. He became one of those fanboy characters. The Giffen portrayal was interesting at times but not enough to make the character worthwhile again.

So far Infinity is quite good.

Guess it depends when you started reading from. That infamy isn't necessarily in the good way. I still like the Thanos of old.

Also I've been reading F4 and realized again how much Hickman loves Black Bolt. Thanos is doomed. 🙁

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping Thanos no sells Black Bolt's scream and one-shots the city.

I'll be surprised if it isn't a big effort if they fight.

Hickman randomly inserted two Black Bolt issues into FF, and had him only be KO'ed by the bomb that opened the fault.

If they fight, it'll be the first time Thanos actually lifts a finger to fight in this event. They can't make him look like a chump in the middle of the event. I have a feeling that Black Bolt and his kingdom are going to get wrecked to show off Thanos' power.

I don't think so. Pretty sure that they'll have a stand-off with neither party initiating the first blows.

If it does end up coming to a head on fight between the 2,lets keep our fingers crossed than Thanos triumphs. BB did punk a couple of kree accusers in FF, but I doubt Thanos would be that type of fodder canon under Hickman's pen.

I don't think it will be a 1 to 1 fight...more of war game, which Thanos is supreme.

It might be a 1 on 1 fight since Black Bolt said he'd deliver his answer to Thanos personally.
