here in Washington state my brother runs three theaters. At the moment Thor is taking in more people then JL, not sure what that means. The late showings last night the seats were not even 1/3 full for JL. Just got back from it this morning and there were 2 people in the auditorium.

Honestly not sure how well its going to do.

I don't think it's the actor's fault, mostly the script's.

Yeah, let's all pretend that Jesse is a talented golden kid that will astonish us in the future.

Best course of action would be for WB/DC to just focus on making stand alone movies instead of a shared universe.

The problem is Marvel Studios has painted them into a corner, where the public wants to see the shared universe after decades of stand alone films. It's old news to be stand alone, now. MS has also gone the extra mile by making all the MCU TV shows part of the greater whole too, while DC makes all TV shows separate from the movies. Shows a lack of confidence in most of your universe.

Yes, they f*cked up big time. And will never recover.

Good to live in times when DC finally gets conquered, raped and devoured. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Not necessarily. Look at the success of Deadpool. I know it’s part of the “X-Men” franchise, but it really had zero connection to the Hugh Jackman or Michael Fassbender films, yet massively outgrossed them both at the box office and was Certified Fresh on RT as well.

Just need to take risks and give us fresh new stuff. Shazam’s a good step but it’s taken them too many years to start it. They took an awful long time to get Wonder Woman out there as well, and look how audiences were craving that.

I think Aquaman will have some good business. There is already strong buzz for that.

MCU and creative risks? Lol how about never

^ Yeah probably. James Wan will dona good job on that. And seems like there’s not been any conflict between him and WB on that project.

😆 😆 😆

2018 will be a reset year, as already explained. Aquaman is coming out, SHAZAM has some good WOM, in terms of the overall project, and Flashpoint is almost found it's director.

If Ben leaves, I'm sure WB/Matt Reeves will lure a talented actor to play Batman. Hopefully, Jake gets the job.

I'm ****ing Batman! 😂

So how is this? It is as bad as Suicide Squad and BvS or did Joss Whedon manage to somehow salvage it into an enjoyable campy ride?

DC had their chances and they wasted them all, f*ck them. Inferior source material, two-dimensional characters and piss poor studios.

Marvel will continue to rape them for another century or so.

The only film with a chance to outgross IW1 is the Jurassic World sequel.
