You also really took offense to Force Awakens and posters liking it. You're a petty man. You liked batman v. Superman. A lot of people didn't. Let it go.
And do you think the audience would have rated it 70%+ if it was a legitimately bad movie? With critics you're talking about the same people who supported IM3 from the start of its massive financial run to the end, helping to boost that garbage the whole way.
BvS was legitimately > IM3.
Point- I don't care for the opinions of critics. But turns out the GA does. Plus this film was getting mixed reviews from audiences anyway. So put both together, and there was just too much negativity surrounding this movie for it to become the mass cultural hit that it potentially could have been.

To the guy that said DC was 0-2 in it's cinematic universe, it's first two films grossed 1.351 billion dollars and counting.I wouldn't call that a loosing record.
Marvels first 3 grossed 1.472 billion.
it is a losing record.. WB wanted/needed Man if Steel to make $800 million worldwide.. it tapped out at $668 million worldwide.. that poor monetary showing along with bad(being generous) reviews/WOM told WB lets make a long gestating Batman vs. Superman film, but instead f stopping there and making that great and epic they then decided to throw in everything but the kitchen sink and hope people like it.. The people have spoken Bats v Supes is a massive failure both with critics and general audience .... the film must make $ 1.5 billion dollars in order to turn a profit... kindly tell me exactly who will see the film so it make another $400 million???
Their record for their cinematic universe if 0 for 2 and they could very well strike out with Suicide Squad

yea the tv showwell terrio was a major disappointment
we don't know how much of the script was him, and how much was goyer. hell, all the batman parts that people actually liked could be terrio, seeing as how he's Affleck's mate.
I'm sure Goyer wrote the Superman stuff, as it's the same as it was in Man of Steel, just without the fluke parts that actually got Superman right that we got in MoS.

Actually they used the kitchen sink too.
1.5 Billion to make a profit? 😂 Where are you getting your numbers?
I guess you guys got your wish... Kinda.
Ben Affleck and George Miller to Co-direct with Zach Snyder on Justice League Part 1

I can't tell, are you saying that you do believe the critics would still be bad mouthing this if it was a legitimately good movie?
It's been known to happen. The Pirates of the Carribean series is a beloved franchise that gets shat upon by critics.
But then to be fair it is their job to "criticise", hence the name.
What I'm saying is I wouldn't give their ratings as much credit and trust as the GA still seems to give them, after they failed to do their job (I.e. criticise) IM3.
I went into IM3 with massive expectations, and the damn reviews did not warn me in the slightest to lower my expectations.

I think we will hear something similar to that once BvS has been out a while. In the meantime any changes will be kept quiet.

Second sessions for big superhero blockbusters usually see a big drop at the box office, but the speed of decline for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice might be giving Warners and DC Comics cause for concern. In line with results in other territories, the vigilante team-up crashed 68% here, for second-weekend takings of £4.66m and a 10-day total of £27.83m.By comparison, Man of Steel fell 55% in its second frame, and The Dark Knight Rises 49%. Over in the Marvel camp, Avengers Assemble dropped 39% on its second weekend and the sequel Age of Ultron fell 41%. -Link
If the downward trend for this film continues, it might not even break 800mil, let alone 900mil. Hoping WB takes that as a hint to fire Synder, postpone JL and rethink their strategy for the DCEU.

Doubt that since it's already just beneath $700mill, and it's not even been 2 weeks yet. Will defo reach $900mill IMO, in which case WB will just be happy they "made profit." (Breaks even at around $750-800mill).
Still with those kind of figures JL would be a suicide move for next year. Because what if JL makes less than that? With the same kind of budget and marketing it may struggle to break even.
Even if they took the dramatic step to release Snyder, would they delay the project to let another director get up to speed? It's almost a prerequisite to get a quality film made. Marvel Studios got lucky getting Peyton Reed to jump onto Ant-Man after Edgar Wright walked at the 11th hour; they stayed on schedule and it worked out. It worked somewhat less well when Brett Ratner had to pinch hit for Matthew Vaughn, just before shooting for X-Men: The Last Stand started.
Thor got delayed for a whole year after Matthew Vaughn(again) left the project so Kenneth Branagh could get up to speed and make the film he wanted. It worked out wonderfully.
Luckily, it was early in pre-production when Bryan Singer came down from his Producer role to direct X-Men: Days Of Future Past after Matthew Vaughn(again, this guy! 🙄 ) left the project, and the result was one of the best X-Men films.
I say delay, and let Guillermo Del Toro or whomever make the film they want!

I think my prediction was 850-890. That might be a reality. It had a huge drop yesterday and only made 3.1 m.
