Yes, and you know everyone's opinion, right? Fact is, you don't, and the only thing you can go off of is BO and home rental sales. SS topped both DVD and BR sales. People aren't going to buy what they don't like.

And yet people like me went to see the movies knowing that there was complaints anyways (as a lot of people do), but I had to see it for myself. I got burnt 3 times by WB/DC and that's why WW will be the last straw. If its not good I'm done. I'll stick with pirate copies.

The trailer was all right. The thing holding it back from greatness is it's best feature: it doesn't show much.

I'm not a fan of the suit, but man the Flash's powers in action look great.

I think the most surprising part of the trailer is how great Aquaman looks. He seems to be a fun character.

I like that instead of just going in slowmo the way they could have, they're keeping it at normal speed and just showing us how fast he is.

Do any of the fight sequences in the DC universe happen during daylight hours? Every time I watch one of these things the screen stays dark so much I feel like I have glaucoma? To hell with super villains, what the Justice League should be concerned about is that apparently someone has taken the sun away.

Yeah, MoS's fights were all during the daytime.

Of course, which is why I was kinda saying to just try and enjoy him for what it is.

I take MoS as a lot of good ideas just executed badly. Not that every idea was great or anything, just that at times I could see what they were going for, and it just didn't pan out.

But the general consensus is that SS had GOOD WOM. Not bad. BVS had BAD WOM, and it showed at the BO.

It's also very good timing, imo. Introducing him while Supes is gone allows him to be the brick and demonstrate how powerful he really is, without having to compete with Superman. It also changes the tone - from a guy who is an alien, getting used to his powers and trying to fit in, we move to a king who is completely confident in who he is, where he belongs and in his powers.

Not sold on Cyborg, but I thought that the rest of it looked decent enough. Still setting my expectations low after BvS and SS.

Pre-Avengers, Marvel wasn't building up massive box office. Instead it was building up goodwill from audiences, which the DCEU has not managed to do, despite having massively more famous characters to market.

It had a lot of hype, with a huge OW.

It's final box office multiplier wasn't that amazing.. It was no GOTG or Deadpool, whos sequels will both get Massive Opening Weekends, and perform really well again. You think SS2 will?
