Just shows you didn't have the balls to put yourself on the line.

There's no line to put myself on. This is the internet.

What it shows is that the situation's win/win for me.

I like putting myself on the line. I would hate to sit on the sidelines. You seem to enjoy it.

You like being the center of attention in an anonymous setting where there's no real risk.

I like reading.

I'd go debate this in person but it's not like anyone lives closely by in Ohio that cares about this.

That should be an indication of how low the stakes are. 😛

It's the only way it can be done. Imagine staying at someone while they stare across from you while you search through youtube videos.

haermm That'd be a decent point if debates weren't conducted before the era of the internet. The web does make the aquisition of information a lot easier though, so fair enough I guess.

It still has no bearing on my point, though. People don't care, there's no real risk, it's not a big deal. shrug

People that come here and rack up over 15,000 posts care. Will they beat their wives if they lose; no. But anyone with a sense of pride wants to win. Needs to win. It'll sting.

That's not pride, that's an inferiority complex.

If it were pride, it wouldn't be dependent on internet pissing contests. 😛

No, it's a drive to compete/dominate others. Only people who can't stand losing would understand.

Meet Rainbow Dash:
YouTube video

She has social anxiety disorder, and constantly spouts off bravado and brags about how awesome she is so that her friends will validate her with their attention.

How're you feelin', Quan? Need a hug? Are you S.A.D.? 🙁

So she's just like you. It all makes perfect sense.

You don't know if that degree of sunlight can really cover that much area nor do you know if it'll easily kill Russell. One thing Link fans keep forgetting is russell's speed.

The rest you know I won't comment on since I have a battlezone in the air.

Well we know it effects things 30 ft from Link from its effect in-game, so it must be doing the job.
Sunlight would kill Russell in ten.. twenty seconds. Either Russell would ignite from the light (like sunlight) or he would suffer a greater amount of pain (UV rays alone). Burnt to death or crippled with a slow death.

I had a point to make about speed .. but I figured your portrayal and in-character thing would be easier. The instant Russ is in a fight he doesn't go for the direct kill, can't be said for Link drawing his sword.

That was just for the thread and anyone curious about the outcome of the thread.

Prove that this sword covers 30 feet of distance. He has gone for the kill before and in a very quick fashion.

Not the sword itself, the light emitting from it. He draws his sword and Dark Fog about 5 LinkHeights away vanish (touching light destroys the fog).

I only recall after some talk has been had, some soon-to-be victims coming right up to him before death ensues. And even so how quick? Because getting his sword out is literally the first thing he does when in combat.

You most certainly are.

So you are unsure about the distance. That's just as I thought. The scene I posted a while back shows Russell disarm Stackhouse's shotgun before he can even tell he's there from well over thirty feet away.

Edgington can't disarm Link, lol. And if he can't even enter that range, he'll probably burn from even farther away than that.
