Ive watched him for years on Boardwalk Empire. I still remember him as a youth in Groundhog Day when Bill Murray gets him and his gf wrestlemania tickets.

No, I liked the reboot. I loved this film though. Per reboot sucks ass.

They have distanced themselves for the Trekkie formula. Love it. See ya later Trekkies.

So you googled. Also, from what I hear Shannon is praised on Boardwalk Empire.

ie bandwagon-boy #1

Still have no idea what you're ranting about, and we went over this already. Abrams isn't distancing his films from the ToS. He in fact gives fans many little gems from ToS and films, which you wouldn't understand being completely ToS ignorant, bandwagon-boy.

Shannon is excellent in Boardwalk Empire, off topic or not.

Also, Quan is just a trekkie in denial.

Hes awful and they need to kill him off. Absolutely terrible.

That must mean he's award winning level good.

Abandoned the formula not the lore. I have a problem with the formula not the lore. Abrams Star Trek craps on original Star Trek IMO. Biggest reboot fan on kmc. 🙂

I disagree. You may enjoy his character on the show I do not. My opinion is always my own ad isn't based on anyone else's praise.

Nobody said it was/wasn't.

They didn't really abandon the formula. Abrams just put his own twist on it.

More action and less exposition. I already posted an article supporting it. I'm always right.

Not really, but being ST ignorant you wouldn't know.

No one cares what you like more in here, stop sharing your feelings. Correction: Biggest bandwagon-boy on KMC 🙂

Only someone that hadn't watched the original movies would think that.

"They're using character development and building the story when we should have more Michael Bay-like explosions!"

Bandwagon-boys are great.

The funny thing is, the first movie is focused incredibly on the relationship between Kirk and Spock and how they grow to respect each other.

I wonder where Abrams got THAT idea.

So often science fiction action films slip and stumble over the edge into camp or dance too sacrosanct in a pair of safe zones: talking down to children or challenging the adult intellect. The -----Star Trek franchise has long suffered all of these states except for a handful of transcendent moments on television or in the movies. -------Director J.J. Abrams, however. seems to have the ideal formula locked down.--not my words.

Key word being formula.

Keep crying original Star Trek fans. I'm always right. 😄

Like it more than you. You love original more I don't. Quit being so sensitive original Trekkie.

If you feel that is all Abrams brings to the table Thats your awful opinion not my own.

Can't wait for Star Wars Abrams style.

That's funny Quan; I thought you said your opinions weren't influenced by other sources?

Hmm, interesting.

I like that you won't watch the originals, but will trust a poorly written article. Really. It amuses me.

They aren't but I can support it. Your no it isn't and inability to understand words like reboot and formula isn't really debating.

Should I find another one ? If you feel the formula is the same you didn't see the originals.

My opinion is my own but is always logical and correct. 🙂

Your opinion is that exposition in a film is a bad idea, bandwagon-boy.

Looking forward to it as well. But I do love how you're already preemptively bandwagon-boying Star Wars now. You'll probably make a sig.
