Denton Van Zan Vs. the Wood-chipper from Fargo

Again, stop being butthurt. Taking on a dragon is not the same as an inanimate woodchipper. Denton made poor tactical decisions against giant sentient monsters. That definitely does not mean he is stupid enough to not simply shut off a woodchipper. The amount stupidity required by somebody to lose here defies several laws of physics and mathematics. Van Zan is not that stupid.

Stop being butthurt. Hate on Quan somewhere and leave Van Zan be. He made poor decisions, but he was still a cool character. Don't stoop to Quan tactics. It's poor form.

You're ignoring the blatant circumstances that he had a 5-10% chance of survival at best, considering that if the dragon didn't eat him, it would have just blown up the entire building, killing him in the blast radius even if he did manage to jump down. He had a better opportunity to make a last stand than to make an escape so he took it.

The same DOES NOT apply here. An inanimate woodchipper DOES NOT pose the same threat as a 40-ft flying anthropophagic fire-breathing lizard. Van Zan DOES NOT have a 5-10% chance of survival. He has a 100 x 10^∞% chance of survival because an inanimate woodchipper poses A ZERO PERCENT THREAT to one's life. Because he has NO OVERWHELMING THREAT against his life, he has NO REASON to make a last stand, and thus NO SUICIDE
