Hopefully said deleted scenes will actually be good.

In the after credits scene from X3, they showed Xavier transferred his mind into the body of a comatose patient in Moira's lab. In a commentary, the director or writer said the patient was Xavier's twin brother, like a male Cassandra Nova.

Because the movie was so awful that even it became part of their repressed memories.

Because that end credit scene was in the days when people weren't waiting around for them, and didn't take them that seriously anyway. Besides that end credit scene really didn't explain much. How did Prof. X look the same and why was he back in a wheel chair.

They just didn't give a crud about Last Stand when brining Prof X back in DOFP. Which I don't blame them for. But what I do blame them for is referencing that movie when it suited them, but then ignoring it when it suited them.

What a shit movie.

Agreed. A good movie where we got to see some action scenes with colossus, warpath, iceman, bishop, blink, and suspot without necessarily having to bring them back, but the options would be there. Kitty Pryde bringing out the time-traveling psyche power was total PIS though, hehe.

I liked how Magneto went all "bad" again but actually did it in a way that caused the sentinel program to get cancelled after he realized that Mystic's dna had been captured and the future would likely not change at that point. That guy always has a reason for his madness.

Personally, I don't get too bent out of shape when continuum is changed with movies like this--especially after 5 of so movies. It gives options for the future.

Anyone else chuckle when Quicksilver told Magneto "My mom knew a guy once who could control metal." ?
