That only strengthens the idea, imo, that Ridley Scott didn't like Cameron making them more insect-like, having hives and a single queen, etc. If its gonna happen, at least.
Just got this Ridley hates Ants
This makes me think the Alien King might appear in Alien Covenantscared

Those two have already fought in the recent comics.
Yeah, I haven't read those, but I've read the Prometheus and Aliens Fire and Stone comics. I'm sort of hesitant to read the AvP and Predator ones because part of me considers it blasphemy (lol) for the Alien and Predator stories to be related. But no doubt with all this "Shared Universe" crap it's probably inevitable. I just don't see Ridley Scott doing it in his films.

Don't worry. The role of the Predators in Fire and Stone is significantly small since Chris Sebela(writer of AVP Fire and Stone) doesn't consider the AVP Movies canon.
Are both AvP movies going to be canon, or just the solo movies?Sebela: I'm just sticking with the solo movies, because I think they build up an interesting mythology of their own that fits in well with the world we're building. I think the AvP movies have a lot of interesting things going on, but they seem to exist in their own little bubble, one that's very far away from ours, and, personally, I want to keep myself as free of all past AvP encounters, to start from a clean slate and build my own take on this mythical face-off.
So in the new comic canon, the Predators never built temples on earth. They never breed or hunted the Xenomorphs. So Fire and Stone depicts the Predators meeting the Xenomorphs and Engineers for the first time. Funny thing, the Predator fans are complaining on what happened in Predator Fire and Stone 🙄 😂 😂
