No, 10 years.

So.. a sequel, but then not really... or something.

So the lady who survived at the end and left on the other alien spaceship with the robot head died or something?

Her fate is unknown at this point, but she is in Covenant. She filmed. That much is known.

It sounds like the next film ("Awakening"😉 is supposed to be closer to the events of Prometheus, and perhaps might cover more of her fate? We don't know yet..

Is this a third trailer? Can someone confirm?

Hmmm...

Other than the fact that there is only 12+ people involved in a colonization mission the trailer looks amazing.

The looks are awesome indeed. A minimum to expect from Sir Scott... Now I can only hope the story's any good. Not always Scott's prime quality.

I hate to say it but the spoiler really eludes to Scott giving up on the grand plans he had for Prometheus & trying to start the franchise fresh all over again.

Well that's my opinion anyway.

Hm... "start the franchise fresh" you are probably correct, but I hope you're wrong about the former. (I have decided not to read said spoilers, so thanks for the input).

I think he's still going for the grand scale. Interviews from Fassbender earlier in the production indicated that it's a mix of small and large scale, so I'm still expecting some larger scale greatness.

Started reading some of the Prometheus Tie in Materials, I love what I've read so far. I

Obviously I'm just reading between the lines but the general feeling I do get is that Fassbender's sudden popularity made studio execs rethink Scott's original storyline to focus on the actor having a more focal point to the story.
