A Japanese woman who joins a predator clan

they tried to do something similar with the first AVP movie.

I know it's off topic but rumour has a Pred remake planned for 2015.

If that was the thing i think it is, It ended up being the first Predator re-released in 3D.

So a reboot of the Predator franchise? Odd, since it's so loose they could just keep making non connected films within the franchise.

Yeah, I agree with that. There isn't really any consistent plot that would require a "reboot".

I agree as well. The original is great anyway. I just watched it again. No need to touch it. Would much rather see a continuation of Predators.

Sorry I don't.
I was searching for a title of a horror movie & came across a site that announced upcoming movies to the theatre & dvd.

As I quoted, all it said was, "Untitled Predator Reboot for 2015."

Predator was never re-released theatrically in 3D, was it? It was just a Blu-ray release, I believe.

Yeah, it is possible to keep making non-connected films in the franchise without "rebooting" the original film, so I hope to god they don't try to remake Predator. But there is something more engaging about having some characters continue through the series. Which is why I'd like to see a continuation with the surviving characters of Predators.

regarding connections all that sort of thing....I know they did a novel which was eventually adapted into a comic, 'Concrete Jungle' which the second movie was loosley based on

the connection with that one was the cop character was 'Dutch' Shaefer's brother.

I really liked the first movie. I cant wait for the second!

There is no need to reboot Predator. Both the first and second were great. A direct continuation is fine seeing as how they are all standalone films anyway.this time the yautja does not need to die though.

Big news on the Prometheus sequel...
