No Xenomorphs for the sequel says Ridley

I'm cool with that, I'd much rather it focus on the Engineers and their split factions (if that is what happened).

Prometheus was amazing, If the sequel is coming hope its soon! 💃

I cant wait, I love this series.

Making it sound like there's been 5 movies of it so far....

Prometheus 2 is a very disgustic movie... but i like it...

So I'm pretty pissed that Ridley Scott is doing The Martian now instead of moving right to Prometheus. But perhaps he just wants to stay busy while all the planning, designing and developing is happening with Prometheus? I dunno... and then he still wants to do a damn Blade Runner sequel. I just hope the man doesn't die before he gets back around to Prometheus.

YouTube video

I have heard Ridley mention some sort of dark god-like creature. F#ck. Yes.

Still has a March 2016 release date, don't see why that isn't feasible even with 2 other films, if he is indeed going to do a Blade Runner flick before Prometheus 2. At worst, P2 might get moved back several months.

That haircut is not flattering at all on Noomi Rapace.

Agreed. Not sure what she's thinking there. And I normally find her extremely charming, but that haircut somehow detracts from her charm.

On another note, I've purchased the first 2 Prometheus comics and have the 3rd one coming soon. Only read the first one so far. Pretty cool, but the first bit was just introducing another annoying motley crew of characters.

Prometheus sucked monkey dick. I wouldn't have minded the scientific inaccuracies if the characters weren't the biggest retards ever. How do you cry about not seeing aliens even though you discovered an alien catacombs not even a full day into the investigation? How does a biologist not want to investigate a biological artifact (clearly the reason he went on the mission in the first place) and then cuddle with a clearly dangerous live one? How the hell do you get lost when you have a 3d map and the captain of the ship monitoring you? That's only a couple of fails the movie was chock full of. This movie was so phucking stupid. I really don't get the appeal.

I was very critical of the flick when I first saw it and I still overall only really like about the first half as the second bit turns into mostly action sci-fi nonsense. But subsequent views have made me be less critical of the film as a whole.

Though it could be my bias of loving the Alien franchise and wanting it to be great. Really hoping P2 dwells deeply into the Engineer lore and creation of life and doesn't go all action nonsense on us.

While I hate to assume, it does seem like Kazenji jimmied your rusty-hole, or however that meme goes.

Should quit the flaming, bro. Not very endearing.

I'm with Robtard on this. I thought some things were a little strange at first, but I've said it before and I'll say it again. People are strange. Anyone who WORKS with people (like I do) will know that. They are capable of behaving in the strangest of ways. So the behavior in the film is not strange. I don't understand why people keep putting forth this notion that scientists (of all people) are like perfect human beings who don't get scared or behave strangely. I'm sure they do. Because they are people. And people are strange.

I was skeptical of that for a while, too, but watch it again. It's ambiguous enough that it works: there was a storm rolling in that was disturbing communication with the ship. Idris Elba's character never heard from them, and he was the person with the map. And perhaps they have a shitty sense of direction and there were probably lots of twists and turns. Vwalla... they got lost.

No sorry bro, if Kazos gonna try and troll, he will hear my end of it, and the fact he is wrong and tried to tell my I was wrong. If you don't like it, stay out of it.

Still, I dunno...any new species, new substance discovered...you're not exactly going to take off your gloved protective hand & try & pat it...you're not exactly going to stick your finger in a gooey substance & taste it to see if it's poison, are you?

I understand the factors of the brewing storm screwing the electronics & the 2 guys inevitably getting lost....I just put it down to bad editing when the story progresses then jumps back to them being lost... it was a sequence badly edited.

I've always thought that people were needlessly nit-picky with the first film. Yes, I felt that it was ass but it wasn't because Theron's character decided to run straight rather than run to the left.

I think if it was any other director, people would've just shrugged the silly plot nuances off.

I mean a highly respected director like Scott should've, imo, seen some of the plot devices were out of character, just to keep the story flowing...
