That still doesn't take away from what happened though. I'm not going to low ball Supes because I feel that he is as strong as some writers think.

Yeah, it is. Different writers take strength levels as different measures. Some think heralds are planetary level being like DnA or Gruenwald or other cosmic story writers. Some think that heralds are city busters at best like Jurgens. Johns is notorious in giving his heralds the same treatment although slightly more powerful. Its not the same as Hulk though, both times he was written by the same writer.
