I'm not sure I understand the differences. Clearly you will be under control of the characters in the BattleZone, so you must obviously remain in the domain of action that it has been implied possible by what actually happens in their respective fictions -feats-.
Portrayals and personality only matter when the characters fight with CIS on which isn't the case here -right? At least I was under that impression-.

If that's the case, I wouldn't rule by feats, I'd rule by the portrayals, as long as their respective implications are provided by the debaters. Really, as long as their points are backed up by proof I don't see why it wouldn't be character proof.
...Again, this kind of debating asks for a lot of heavy work, I'm not sure if both sides realize how incredible huge of a task they are engaging.

I will admit I'm probably getting in over my head here. This will be my first ever battlezone, and I haven't even played the game for the side I'm meant to be representing. 😆 Luckily I have a fair few friends who can help me understand what I have to offer...and the internet, of course.
