Ooh, I'm scared.

Its not. I can produce any number of proofs to support my stance. What do you have to prove your stance? Your opinion?

I was mocking your point that it was just flight, don't get all riled up. So now flight adds power to lift things up?

Also you don't get to criticize people for their spelling mistake with stuff like "Mystque to Plastic man " in the same post.

durly

scared? not even sure what that refers to... anyway

It just doesn't make sense to me. For example like if you put hulk on a the front of a space ship (doesn't have to be that space ship that you posted) and tell him to slow it down or stop it. it would be pretty hard because he doesn't have any flight but if he had something underneath him he could just toss it away. Just makes sense. I would like to see what you have that proves this. Don't take this as "I DEMAND PROOF OF YOU SIDE WITHOUT ME HAVING TO SHOW ANY" (because this is something you would cry about) I just honestly would like to know that it is a fact that strength = flight.

Mocking my point, so you mean childish dribble, nice. I'll be sure to cut those parts out.

You don't make the rules here spelling nazi! 🤣 But it's good to know that it pisees u offt adl aodi. 😈

But PR is right i should have some proof but that's probably not gonna be happen to be honest... 😂

You suck as usual at this.

U kiddin me? U should have stopped at a really big spaceship traveling fast enough to blow up a continent. The pocket universe thing has no bearing. Ure adding to something that's not really there.. Now u saying they slowed down the weight of a whole universe. What's next, they stopped a ship that contributed to 1/4 the energy of a big bang?
😉

If you want to talk about the pocket universe, then the feat becomes unquantifiable.

Stopping the ship alone is a good feat, as is the Asgard one, and people need to stop lowballing.

So stopping a ship by flying in the opposite direction is a strength feat?
No... it would qualify as how fast they could fly, that's what's stopping it not strength.

Why?

How would it be a strength feat if they can't push off anything?
Now if it was Superman standing there lifting it yeah thats strength.
Explain how it is a strength feat, rather then flying?

Because he's using his hands? Because he's pushing his weight against something?

Like I said, you have to prove that flight, as a separate entity, is somehow able to not be linked to his strength and yet at the same time equal to it.

I'm not saying there is no strength used at all, obviously there is a ton of wait he slowing down. Its the same basic idea as moving planets around, its more of a flying feat IMO

I'm also forgetting this is comic book logic we have to use, so it probably doesn't make sense.

Beta Ray Bill version of Supergirl. Would you hit? I'm not talking about Sarah Jessica Parker either.

Mocking again to your direct approach to me.

Yeah, its not like hulk has stopped a planet from falling apart with his bare hands or something, has he? This isn't real life, superman has specifically said he is using strength to lift things up and not flight.

No? How about something even better ?

"With my super-strength back..."

Want something even better ? Here not only is it stated that he uses super-strength while flying and moving an object by the writer but due to fluctuations in his super-strength he actually goes through the plane.

Happy?

Your whole stance is so laughable that I can't stop mocking it. Its "I don't like this feat, so I would just nitpick it to death" at finest.

Pissed me? I'm just laughing at you and your "back-paddling".

Yeah, that's not what happened. Superman stopped a continent buster alone. When they were all stopping the ship, it was going to destroy Earth. Pick something else, your desperation is showing here.

No... it would qualify as how fast they could fly, that's what's stopping it not strength.

So anybody who is close to kryptonians in flight speed could've stopped it, right? Dawnstar can actually fly faster than them or maybe Ultra-boy using just his flight power could've stopped it, right?

If someone is looking for the actual size of that pocket universe, here they go. Doomslayer wanted it to destroy Earth by expanding to greater than planetary size and collapse into a black hole.

This however shows its true size, doomslayer sttes that even at FTL speed which superman used to breach dimensional walls. it would take superman decades to find ship's core.

Oh, I mis-remembered that he was woken up by Stardust. I am not degrading his durability with that scene though, just saying both have survived planets blowing up in their faces. Supergirl's feat is more impressive though since we know new krypton was Earth's size and she was weakened by kryptonite. Also these kinds of feats are meaningless in assessing characters' durability. By this standard superman would likely be more durable than all the other high heralds combined.

I actually agree with you on this one. Supergirl's feat is far more impressive. Mm maybe you should post scans of her taking out the entire Justice League, taking blows from Doomsday and Ultraman. People are seriously underrating her, if they think BRB takes ten out of ten. I can see it going either way.

The key is Force = mass x acceleration

The more force you apply then the quicker you slow something down or speed something up (the more acceleration you cause).

For example, assuming no other gravity forces acting, if you applied 100lb (444.8N) of force to the moon 7.35 x 10^22 kg then it would take you over 23,000 years just to move it 1 mile.

Proof:

D= 1/2a t^2 (no initial velocity)
=> t= sqrt (2D/a)

Now a = F/m
=444.8N/7.35e22kg
=6.05e-21m/s^2

D= 1 mile = 1609m

so t = sqrt ( 2*1609/6.05e-21)
=7.29e11 seconds
=23,123 years

Now assume the moon was traveling at a speed of 1000m/s (about it's orbital speed). Then how long will it take you to stop it using 100lb of force?

Solution:
V= Vo + a t
=> t = (V-Vo)/a
= (V-Vo) / (F/m)
= (0-1000) / (-444.8/7.35e22)
=1.65e23 seconds or
> 5 trillion years

Conclusion, it takes a very large force (strength) to move or slow down a massive object in decent amount of time and distance. Otherwise it would take you forever (but you can still move it). Thus strength is needed, and a lot of it.

bwahahaha

h1 needs to go back to comicvine.

Comicvine is what one gets when people plagiarize stuff from KMC to another forum, and then load up said forum with a bunch of dimwitted morons.

In a nutshell, comicvine is to KMC what Bizarro is to Superman.
