I skimmed some of the article. Didn't want to spoil too much. (I did happen upon a couple .gif images yesterday on the Riddick tumblr site (<--- click at your own risk) that I quickly averted my eyes from, but it looked f$cking sick... very Pitch Black-esque.) But anyway...

I love this...

What is it about Riddick that allows him to get a third action movie? This is a third film years later, that I am legit excited about, why?

Your guess is as good as mine. He feels like a very elemental character that hasn't been cooked up by a studio. Hasn't been factory-made, because he's an amoral guy. He's not a hero, he's an anti-hero. But even though he's amoral, he has a code. A simple code, a code that people can respect. "Don't mess with me, and I won't mess with you." And he really doesn't kill in the movie. He really only kills when it's really justified. And when he really has to. And that's what makes him cool.

And hmm...

And in other news, Twohy says they're already planning a Necromonger-heavy Director's Cut DVD. F*ck yes.

So the there was a screening for the Studio...

The Director thinks it's Riddick's best, the Producers think it's the Director's best... and the Studio.. well... The Studio now wants to make the following chapter... "COR: The Underverse".

Although, this would be a few years away, a script could come in next month...

P.s. Those 30 million of you on Our page last year, who saw the whole production process... kinda surreal huh?

Without even knowing the level of financial success?? The studio is already saying, "Sure, we'll do it"? It must be pretty damn good. Hell yeah!!! you know I'm rejoicing.
